Only one on that list I'd consider is Vogel...
And even with all his faults Thibs is probably better than any of them...
This must be some advanced analytics **** I just don't understand...

However using that same logic Pringles should had not been hired as the rox coach. He appears to be doing quite well right now. Records ain’t everything.

Ok, look at that list and pick a dude... It's not about the records, it's about those guys just not being great coaches. Most of them went out because they started losing more games than they had been... Many of them lost the respect of their players... It's just a crap list.
Honestly, we should fire Rambis, get linda out of the org (you can still be her friend, you just don't have to employ her), and go back to Lue and kiss his ass to the tune of 5yrs 10M/yr... Send a message and get it done.
Or blame it on Pelinka and fire him...
We need a fall-guy immediately and we need to send a message to the league that we've excised the problem and are moving forward...
I don't even like Lue but I would literally fire my best friend and pay the man anything he wants to get out from under this stink.

Could you guys close your eyes and rewind to June 1999, Jerry Buss and West offering Phil a contract. Could you guys imagine if Phil walked away bec of a conflict of the length of it, what might have been?
If year 4 after Lebron and Lue is terrible, then fire him. Yes, you still need to pay him but so freaking what?
There are rumors that Magic was getting paid 10 Mil per year, and now he quits and he's not getting replaced= 5-10 Mil free up to your payroll and you are worried you might have to pay him by year 4 and 5 if he sucks?

Phil was a living legend, best coach since Red Aurbach and John Wooden... There is literally no shred of similarity in the two situations... It's a comically bad analogy.
That said, we did let Phil walk due to contract negotiations... 3 times.

Can't stop asking why are they not considering Stan Van Gundy?? He is the best coach available and can gain Bron's respect.

I'd like to apologize if I came across as a troll on here. It wasn't my intention. I just felt that lebron was being criticized a lot for things that were much bigger than him. Imo, the last month or so have reinforced my belief, but that's beside the point. We all have a common enemy right now. As bad as things currently seem, they can quickly turn around. The Lakers still have lebron, promising young players, cap space, and good assets. They just need the current front office to get thrown out and replaced with competent people.

He couldn't even get clown Dwight Howard's respect. What makes you think he could get LeBron?

If Thibs played Ingram with his (Tom) usual recommended playing time, Ingram would snap in half. These kids aren't ready for a dog of a coach like Thibs. ****, not LeBron either.

You are being silly to suggest that I am comparing Lue to a legendary coach, even though how he beat a 73 win team in the championship is nothing to sneeze at and the fact that his team was still 5th best in ORTG AFTER LOSING KYRIE. Lue has his share of weaknesses esp defensive schemes but I like to know your preference.
What I said was Buss and West did EVERYTHING NECESSARY to bring in the coach they think who can do the BEST JOB WITH THE GIVEN SITUATION.
And what situation was are taking about? 55, 61, 56, 47, 45 LOSSES in the last FREAKING 5 years and they don't feel a little desparate. Magic would rather leave the team he loves, Jeanie would rather NOT give Bufford, Myers etc a call and let Rob run the show while bring in Rambis and his wife to give their input....

I google imaged Vogel, seems like we would hire him only if we trade Lebron.

I hope everybody remembers that Lebron was obsessed with Kidd. They were good friends on the dream team and when Kidd played

To me, the concept that we would impose assistant coaches on a potential HC hire, just makes us look like a rookie org, who's never done this before... Because I've never heard of an org demanding a head coach hire someone else before.
Great point. This is proof that this is unsophisticated leadership. They are waaayyyy over indexing on this because of Luke’s clown car of assistants. Just say its a concern... i.e. dont hire your frickin drinking buddies.
Btw, i think pelinka, lil buss and west are smart. Jeannie and the Rambii are way over their heads.
