To be fair, he's not gonna be nearly the same impactful fantasy player with Durant on board

You got your ass burned with Love and the Cavs, so you of all people should understand what an impact a move can make on a players' value( even tho Klay hasn't switched teams in this instance)

That being said, I agree with you in the end's result..could have done better than a #4 pick

thats not true at all, he will get less shots maybe, but his actual impact on the game of basketball is not getting worse. I would expect his efficiency to rise as his usage goes down, which can easily offset the lost fantasy value. Theres a big difference between going to a team with 2 iso first players in Kyrie/Lebron and a team whose entire offense relies on a system of ball movement and open shots. You can see Love getting marginalized on the court as those two run the offense, I highly doubt Klay Thompson will ever get marginalized in GS. Klay might not be a top 10 player with KD around, but he can easily be top 20-25.

But he'll see a dropoff nontheless...by how much, remains to be seen, I'm not sure his supposed better efficiency(that's arguable, probable yes, not a given tho) is gonna offset the other categories in which he will suffer a blow(points and 3's, mainly points)

I expect his mins to dip as well, as GSW will probably see even more blowouts than this year .....I'm on your side in the end, you don't trade him for a #4 pick, already knowing it's a draft filled with questions marks outside of the top two picks

No, he is not

He's a guy that fits my blend of needs (rebounds, assists, defensive stats, solid FG% while not shooting a lot), and who I think has an opportunity to have a good year, after the guy in front of him in the pecking order decided to part with the team this summer
