Thanks again for your advice. The weekend was cool.

I actually have even less confidence my friend is going to be back any time soon, regardless of what happens with her BF. She just got an offer to head down to Chile for four months at $10 grand per, and I think she's going to have a tough, tough time leaving Rome behind, what with social circle and the fondness she has for the city.

But, nothing I can do about that, is there? So it was fun, and I'll see her periodically through the end of August before she hops back over the pond.

Sucks for you that she's so wrapped up in her career. "There's plenty of fish..." , might not do it but it's 100% true.

ST, if you love her, just upgrade your offense and try your luck again - if you want it bad enough I believe you'll find a way (and succeed)

Most girls just keep a boyfriend around to up their status and/or b/c they're lonely or bored.

So lame but so true.

If she's just working for money then it's a green light to work your magic / if she's working for other reasons then you might have an obstacle on this mission of yours.

"Worry about things you can control - not things you can't" (I think your high school football coach's advice would apply well here)

Worse case scenario: if you two can connect and spark enough chemistry y'all could share an ONS or something. :dontknow:

It's a win/win, no guts no glory though...

At least you'll know where you two stand.

If you can do w/o her, don't dwell on it.

You got (or you can find) better/other things to look forward to, man.

Like EE said, plenty of fishes in the sea.

I sure hope so. Otherwise, I might have sent her on a long-arse wild goose chase.

That reminds me of a girl and a porno clip.

The girl's more likable than the girl in the porno clip.

But then again, that's not saying much.

Or is it?

Had some sake today after I dropped a LONG quarter-assed freestyle.

I should sign w/ a record label for some cash or something.

Okay, he never said the "beat that suckaz!" part, but that wouldve been cool.

It'd be even cooler if I was paid to post.

I might have to find a tv network for a show. :naaa:

EDIT:

I don't trust many ppl, many cowards lie just to lie.

Some plagerize others like myself and take credit for things/deeds they didn't come up with (or do) to give themselves a lil buzz and to upgrade their political careers leaving real ppl like myself here to die b/c I won't speak up and expose them.

Childish games, I thought I was above it, but like I said before in my song overseas, it's still a primitive world.

And for the record, I don't do drugs and I don't trust you very much.

I have my reasons and I'm willing to clear the air so you know where we stand.

We got a fellow mod on this forum that does that on the regular (lie, lie, lie, hate, lie, hate, lie, steal, cheat, lie, lie, steal, lie), I don't bother responding to him anymore / he's dead to me*.

[*It's funny b/c y'all supporting his bullsh't as if he was real when anyone with an IQ over 90 could see he's either a McCrackhead or a bold faced liar. He's not even worth the tongue lashing.]

I've been stalked/cheated/hated on for the longest time (not exaggerating) and I've tried to do things the right/righteous way despite my better judgment.

Unfortunately, it wasn't appreciated and it was taken as a sign of weakness.

That's fine, I'll still get mine.

In a world that's slowly going to hell, turning into more **** everyday, where the wrong ppl are in power, I figure someone should say something.

Keeping ideas/things private to myself and having them bootlegged/hi-jacked/stolen isn't helping the world at all.

More bullsh't just ensues.

I usually wouldn't bother giving you a response, but since I'm a regular here, I figure it's okay for y'all to know what's on my mind rather than y'all getting the wrong idea, or starting any BS rumors, or playing any mind games w/ me.

I know most ppl (especially professionals, stalkers, PIs, initials) know I don't have any privacy in my life; you read what I read, see what I see, hear what I hear, etc.

But that's fine; they reach I teach, right?

It's like what 2pac said before, "I'm just trying to make a life out of the filthy, nasty, situation they put me in."

You were an aspiring politician once, or so you said (I called it years before you came out the closest), and I'm sure you know the verbal tricks of the trade to assassinate one's character.

Just know that I know what you're capable of, and that I've kept an eye on you as well.

We don't need to get into specifics, just keep it real with me and I'll probably return the favor.

If you don't ever wanna be friends, it's on you.

I just had it with all fake **** going around me; the negative energy, the lies, the cowards, etc.

"You want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH"

How's that for a mini-interview?

You can like it or love it.

See ya.

I was just sharing my concern. No reason to feel threatened.

Feel free to clear the air anytime you'd like.

Just not if it stems from that time you came back from hiatus and misunderstood a poor welcome back joke of mine. That, I would take offense to. You know how much I dislike ignorance and unwillingness to think the best of people.

So that was a poor welcome back joke?

Insinuating that I'm a druggie?

Okay then, whatever, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt - I'm not here to cry over what you think about me.

I'd prefer THE TRUTH over the excuse of "good intentions with horrible execution" ANYDAY.

It feels like you're the one hurt out of all this looking for some sympathy love and understanding.

Look, I'm not here to attack you or dissect you - I don't care unless you wanna make me care.

You do you, I'll do me.

I'm used to being cheated, snubbed, hated, and lied to by people.

Maybe I'll invest in some fancy jewelry to symbolize their hate for me someday. (shoutout to the rap/hip-hop legends! What uP!?)

Since you're all up in my business and you wanna ask me 20 questions, I'm here to give you answers.

I trust that you're not a delicate little flower and you can handle it, being a self-proclaimed successful professional and all. Maybe not.

If so, that's my bad. I take full responsibility.

I'll be more careful what I say around you then. :P

Many people older than me think they have the right to haze/pry me when they can't even hold a candle to what I've accomplished and just so happen to be living off my production/ability.

It's laughable.

I've been mature about a lot of things long enough, it's time to relapse and take back what's mine.

They failed me for the last time.

People aren't against me, they're just for themselves.

People aren't raping the world to rape the world, they're doing it for income, to get by.

I get it.

I don't think you get it yet, but maybe you will.

You're a man in power here on this forum, so people like yourself can always go back to edit and delete my posts/work if it suits their fancy.

I would suggest you knock out my internet connection, phone lines, and network as well.

I doubt you believe in karma, but if you do, you could very well believe that you could reap what you sow. :o

Sharing your concern? What are you concerned about?

Me? I think you're just being superficial.

But sure! I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, so prove me wrong! :P

Damn Herbal. Aren't you only like 20? How have you had all these people screw you over already? Do people really take your lyrics and music or am I just lost in translation?

Sorry to add to the 20 questions, just a little confused to why you got so aggressive.

I'm not 20.

I'm old enough to drink alcohal legally in California, America.

It's not just lyrics. I don't mind sharing those, it's more of a dignity/privacy/respect thing.

I figured if I didn't take the money, fame, and/or tyrant road I'd avoid the bullsh't but I guess trouble follows me and cowards' cowardly ways know no bounds.

I'll link you or copy and paste something for you.

I usually brush it off and deal with it but I'm off the good guy tip now.

And no, I'm not being aggressive yet, I'm just defending myself and correcting any misunderstandings before they get blown out of proportion.

I'm not big on repeating what I say, so here are two links and two short quotes from the links that might satisfy your curiosity.

Verbal wrote:Houston Suns, how would you rate that flow?

Some of these "new school" rappers tend to "hijack the flyness" too much and beef up their records w/ rhymes from made men. :wavefinger:

Then they have the audacity to say they're "kings", "the greatest", and all that nonsense.

Which is fine, but they usually can't even live up to their own hype.

Chopping up the pure Verbalism to make crack.. anything for the quick buck nowadays.

I'm not just talking about music here either, I'm talking about life in general.

Nothing has changed.

They annoy and bore me w/ their lies, arrogance, and exaggeration.

And the only time they ever really beef is during a peace treaty or a staged antic for press.

They know who they are.

They know who/what I'm talking about.

I'm tired of the bullsh't.

Examples
-the hypocritical cowards that keep me under constant surveillance, use a double standard to try to keep me down, steal whatever they can get their hands on to preserve their wicked lives and vices.
-morons that try to play mind games w/ me.
-fools that keep trying to manipulate me.
-and all of my haters.

I'm a fan of Jada's though.

He's a decorated veteran from the days of old, old school gangsta rap.

Heard some of his stuff this year, hehe.

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=910907&start=15

A sample post from the link above:

Verbal wrote:I have been offended and/or flattered when ppl have "swagger jacked" my work (rap verses, quotes, "Verbalisms", styles, formats, scripts, jokes, philosophy, etc.) into their work and/or lifestyles.

I wasn't always nonchalant about it as I am now... but it is what it is.

I forgive them - for they know not what they do.

I guess you're a leader when you can get a leader to follow you.

I'm just keeping it real w/ you.

"I'm not cocky / I'm confident / so when you say I'm the best - that's a compliment"

:king: :censored:  :guitar: :kissmybutt: :football: :meditate: 8-)

They still can't hijack the flyness.

Not in the formal sense, but yeah, you could say that.

I'm here b/c I like it here; I'm just being myself and having fun.

IE-
Just like when some posters remix my original posts and basically copy and paste the truth I write when they could just very well just save themselves the trouble of being verbose and just quote me instead (especially if they got nothing to add to the subject at hand).

a) why would they do it? To make themselves look smarter than they are.
b) fake hugs from fake friends doing fake things, you know the deal.

Outcasting me for being "pretty random" and applying a double standard on me would be nothing short of bias and corrupt.

Most ppl are fake as hell online anyway, "Why so serious, son?"

I'm not.

I've been nonchalant; but if you ask a question you can expect an Answer.

Now that's really laughable.

You must take me as a dumbass.

Most of these political a-holes try to be slick and play innocent, which is cute, hahaha, it really is cute.

But it's pretty pathetic.

They must think they're smarter than me.

And they might be, b/c I don't have a high school diploma or any plans on taking them to justice via a corrupted system of law that allows all kinds of criminals through the cracks of the law.

Some f'kers hate me b/c I haven't taken any of the bribes or handouts they've received to lobby/cheat for whoever whenever.

The world deserves a better class of, um, leadership.

Yes, leadership.

And it starts now.

Well, it's not really that at all as much as trying to find a decent job in one of the worst economies in recent history to pay off her massive student loans. She's done with school and her visa is coming up so a job is pretty much a necessity at this point.

She actually quit a pretty good gig in Austin a few years back because she didn't like the new owners of her company, then left a really high-paying job in New York because she wanted to live overseas. So while she definitely has goals, I don't think she's obsessed or anything like that. She's actually more of a free spirit.

More than anything, I just think she really, really likes living in Rome -- sounds like she has a great circle of friends and has really acclimated to the lifestyle. It'd be tough for anyone to leave that.

At any rate, I'm kind of working through some significant personal stuff I've stumbled on over the past few months, so time might be a blessing in disguise. And yes indeed, there are plenty of fish in the sea, especially for single guys with no kids, no debt, all four limbs and a decent head of hair.
