Re: Pau

I clearly wanted him out even a week ago and I still wouldn't mind seeing him moved if the right opportunity presented itself.

HOWEVER! One of the reasons I wanted him shipped out was due to his extreme lack of toughness or fight. The guy was a doormat being ran over by anyone and everyone and I just couldn't take it anymore. Finally on Friday we saw some toughness from him. He got into a shoving match with Millsap, an obvious move by Millsap to take Pau off his game, game, and he was jawing at Randy Foye. This is the Pau we need! If he can be this guy going forward I want to keep him. If he can't then I want him shipped! No more pansies on our squad!

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=a2ndcfx

Dwight, Blake, morris, ebanks, and sacre for hickson, batum, babbit, leanard, and liliard.

Then trade Nash and meeks for lowry and t. Ross

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bhwlkgm

liliard/lowry/duhon
Kobe/t.Ross
Batum/artest/babbit
Earl Clark/hickson
Gasol/Leonard

If Milwaukee was open to dealing ersan for hickson and babbit, I would pull it. I doubt we could throw in Duhon in there, but in Mitch we trust. It's def possible, since hickson and babbit are boyh expiring and duhon only gas 1.5 mill garunteed next year. Ersan has a fat contract. If our chances eith lebron are real, the keep our expiring contracts and don't deal for ersan

An idea I had was Howard + Fillers to Milwaukee for Jennings and Sanders. Two young and very talented players. Although Howard would never sign with Milwaukee so I don't see why they would ever do it.

Is that you Mark?

from the way the vowels and consonants are woven together, this appears to be a post from earvin magic johnson. he's been trying to get all the teams in the league to trade for dwight the past 2 weeks.

They are trading him by the deadline. Like destro said they are just letting boosting his play.

For who though? He's a better player than Josh Smith and his max contract. Rudy Gay is an inefficient 18m a year SF. Kyle Lowry maybe but they can sign him in 2014 anyway.

L.A. is looking for a three-point shooting wing right now (Raja Bell probably) and better combo guard.

i would be fine with the lakers keeping gasol when he plays like this, but im not against them "selling high" with him right now.

I highly doubt they trade him, especially with Howard picking fouls at the rate he's been doing the past few games. It might have been a different situation had Hill not gotten injured but having Sacre play again would pretty much seal our chances of any improvement.

- L.A. signs Raja Bell
- L.A. trades Darius Morris for Barbosa

Steve Nash's minutes are shifted so that Nash Pau play the P and P off the bench, while Barbosa plays heavy minutes next to Kobe.

Why would the Celtics even trade Barbosa for Morris?

If their season is over they'll look for youth, giving more minutes to Bradley-Lee. Morris a good defensive 2 to play next to Bradley and Terry.

No Morris will be in the D-league if the Lakers move him. Their season is still not over, they are the 8th seed now and they might just move Barbosa for an upgrade at PG not for Morris.

I know that Pau is playing good, but we are going to go through the same thing next year or later in the season.

The thing that sucks is that J hill is out and if we had him there is no need for Gasol. Howard is currently a shell of his former self.
Depending on how he plays and what we can get for him I would trade him.
If everything goes well we can have a great team next year.

I would trade Gasol for Gay and a shooter of some sort or I would trade Gasol +morris/Blake/Duhon for Lowry and bargs.

We could have these line ups next year.

Nash Blake
Kobe Meeks
Gay Metta
Clark ???
Howard J-Hill

Or we can beef up the bench.

Nash Lowry
Kobe Meeks
Metta Ebanks
Clark Bargs
Howard J Hill

This year we could sign Kenyon

Nash Lowry
Kobe Meeks
Metta Ebanks
Clark Bargs
Howard Kenyon Martin

Nash Blake
Kobe Meeks
Gay Metta
Clark Martin
Howard " "

I think with this line up we are deep.
What are your thoughts?
