Solid defensive effort tonight. They really managed to prevent the 3pt shooters from going off and AD on Butler was great.

ONE MORE WIN Y'ALL!!!

- AD was a monster
- LeBron was amazing in the second half
- Caruso's D and chasing around Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson was elite
- KCP. Good lord. I can't believe it. Those two straight buckets by him, working with Caruso to limit Herro and Robinson. My god. He's worth every cent we've ever put into his pocket for tonights performance alone.

Danny green better step it up for next game. I mean, we paid him to show up in the playoffs, right? This may be his last chance to earn his 15 million.

I actually thought Green was on a roll early in the 3rd but then Frank V went away from him for whatever reason and we never really saw him again.

Defensively he's excellent, that's 75% of why he gets paid. He's still earning 90% of his money.

This he has the best on/off in the playoffs for the Lakers.

Proud of the P & G.
This was a grind it out game and they did it with solid D on Herro and Robinson and switching AD onto Butler.
And KCP with some huge buckets in the 4th.

These are tough battles. Our tendency is to wonder why the Lakers are not playing better and blowing these guys out. Miami is a really good team though and are well coached. They are not going away that easily.

The Lakers have to muster up another rugged effort to win this series.
I hope that will be Friday.

I see some rookie Kyle Kuzma in him too... Only on a much bigger stage... Unafraid to take any shot and hitting a decent amount of them... But thinking that made him literally Kobe, even with Kobe on the team.

Our defense in the second half, especially in the 4th Q, was the best I've seen in a longtime, beyond elite. Great game by LeBron and KCP saving the day, major props to him. AD was phenomenal on the defensive end but it was too passive on the other end, don't you guys think so?

AD was passive on both ends of the floor until the final minutes of the 4th quarter...
LeBron was disgusting all game with the exception of about a 5 min flurry to start the 4th...

They were just getting brutalized in the paint all game until the 4th, so that's part of it, but LeBron was also up his own ass for most of the game and AD wasn't getting the touches he should have been, which was a carry-over from last game...

Hopefully the momentum they built at the end of the 4th carries over.

I disagree with LeBron. He was very good at the 3rd Q and in crunch time. His first half was terrible though.

Yes all three of them are quite similar on that regard. The bulb went off in my head as soon as I saw him take a terrible side step midrange jumper in the 3rd quarter.

Bron and AD played poorly in the first half but showed why they are superstars in the second half. The supporting cast call came through when we needed them. Very gutsy team effort. Solid all around.

And aside from all the nitpicking, the Lakers made all the plays when they needed to. 3 down. 1 to go.
