Wonder if Phil Jackson might find a fountain of youth all of a sudden and an urge to coach in LA.

This will be a first for me... DO NOT WANT.

Handicapping an on floor general like Nash with the Triangle. God, no.

Triangle (iow Triple post offense) was designed to mask a deficiency in playmaking with a stronger reliance on post ups and read-react style cuts/screens.

Your suggestion is akin to wondering if we should get Dennis Rodman in to teach Nash better offensive rebounding.
Wrong situation even if he has an overabundance of credentials.

So you'd want Nash to play like Derek Fisher. :P

Phil abandoned the triangle to accommodate the much-crappier-on-offense Gary Payton; why wouldn't he do the same to leverage Nash?

Phil's also not an idiot; I'm pretty sure that if he had a talent of that sort on his team, he would emphasize the way to best exploit that talent.

This is why I wish he never left. The Lakers have a chance to put together something really special and Phil will most likely be missing out on it.

My heart fell on a pieces, when i heard BIG Steve went to L.A. To the worst rivals...
I was always being a huge fan of his and his play, not only for He is a genious PG, b-ball player and future HoF but mostly for his Huge heart which he put in each damn game, no matter of He was injuried and the game wasn't important. All suns fans should be thankfull for it.
I can't read our GT and some comments " He is a traitor". People are You kidding??? For guy who always being loyal to the FO even though we and He lost the best players (JJ, Amare, JR) He doesn't say a word "transfer me to XXX club". He was quiet and do what professional should do. He focus on game, and other player with less or no talent to gain the goal PO. I am mad more on You all than on Sarver (f...g cancer, guy with no honour) for slashing Nashy for going to Lakers.
Now I think Steve did a good move. I wish him get the ring more than anything. He deserves on it. More than any other player right now. Besides i am really curious how will look the Lakers play with real PG and if Kobe can play not egoistic like He always did.
Nash influence on a sh####ty players for example like Lopez caused He looks almost like NBA player
Gortat stats from Orlando times and Phoenix times with Steve shows everything.
I think finally i'll watch Lakers as a team not Kobe & co. Which will be good for You and for every viewers whos not cheering any particular teams.
I Hate watching Spurs, Celtics boring games... I want see game when amazing thing happens
Nash+Kobe+Bynum will beast the league. You don't need Dwight "queen" Howard (big lol if He ends in Orlando    )

If You won't ban me I will return in November on GM when season starts, not as a troll. see ya

Suns fan here, but I'm happy Nash is going to the Lakers to have a chance at getting a ring. His final years in the NBA would have been wasted on the Suns or on the Raptors. I would have been so disappointed if he had went to Toronto and I can't fathom why any fan of his would have wanted to see him there. I will be trying to watch every Lakers game next season and going for you guys to win a title. I cannot believe I said those words. My favorite NBA moment ever was Suns coming back from 3-1 and beating the Lakers in the 06 playoffs. I liked those games so much that I uploaded them all on youtube when I saw they weren't on it.

I hope Hill joins the team as well. Has he said anything yet?

Thanks for not rubbing anything in, which you easily could have!

We're different compared to the Lakers "fans" you may have encountered on the GB.

I see that. I'm surprised. This is better than what I was expecting.

I personally believe Grant Hill will join us. If he does, I hope we can win over more Suns fans!
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

I might be tripin but what about a gasol and stoudEmire swap, nash and amare are a great duo and gasol with the knicks would be incredible
Also hope kobe learn to play with a real pg, and we dont wast nash's abilitys playing to much triangle stuff
