KCP essentially had his Fisher game.
I would say Kieff and Kuz had their own Horry/Fox games too the last two nights

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has made 40 3-pointers this postseason, tied for the second-most in a single playoff year in Lakers history. Only Kobe Bryant had more in 2010 with 49 3-pointers. KCP shot 3-6 on open 3-pointers tonight. The rest of the Lakers shot 4-14 on open 3s.

No. These three will have more of them. Alreasy markieff and kcp has been giving us a few of them already.

Thank you KCP for feeding me crow from the regular season to this post season. I gained so much weight but that’s okay.

AD was passive on both ends of the floor until the final minutes of the 4th quarter...
LeBron was disgusting all game with the exception of about a 5 min flurry to start the 4th...
They were just getting brutalized in the paint all game until the 4th, so that's part of it, but LeBron was also up his own ass for most of the game and AD wasn't getting the touches he should have been, which was a carry-over from last game...
Hopefully the momentum they built at the end of the 4th carries over.
Both LeBron and Rondo racked up a few turnovers trying to get it to AD in the post. Heat are pushing into his legs and taking away his jump. So LeBron and Rondo gave him the usual passes up high but he couldn't lift to grab them.
They need to make an adjustment here somehow, some nod to tell AD to run towards rim.

I know it's easier than done, but AD can flash from the weakside to the strong side, then he gets a pass from a precise time, just like he did vs Denver instead of camping at the low post at the outset. A pick from Dwight or Morris from the weak side can help too.
Miami has cut down on letting the Lakers get those relatively easy transition baskets too. I still don't like the way Lebron holds the ball too long and settle for those low % 3's. Vogel has a done a very good job on defense but I still yearn for a better offensive continuity.

Yeah, I don't like LeBron holding the ball too long either but he started that strategy a few years ago as a way to get some rest after defensive plays and taking the pace out of the game. It gives the opponent more urgency. Rondo does this as well sometimes too but he doesn't trust his bailout offense to drain it too low.
It can be hard to watch.
I like your idea with AD, they should go for that.

Makes me wonder if we should bring McGee in for Davis instead of Morris... Morris has been one of our best 3pt shooters but he's not great on D. Maybe McGee's length would be better... He does a lot of those same things... Just not nearly as well.
I just can't get over the fact that McGee is still on the roster but hasn't played in the Finals yet... Seems like we should have at least tried him in there for situations.

McGee is terrible at fronting a player but great at blocking shots. If a guy goes into his body then McGee will foul him more often than he should. I do agree he would be good at going under screens and sagging back because that's his MO, to sag and then leap forward and block.
It's not a bad idea though, McGee may be a great option when Bam sits. He should get out there, he honestly had some great defensive sequence against driving wings like Butler.

Re: The Finals: Lakers vs Heat 3-1 Gm 5 10/9 6:00 pm PST
Let be real. Have Lebron poisoned or sabotaged the team in the last two games to win the Finals Mvp for you guys? Because if they don't defend Butler like they do in the last game mostly by Davis and doesn't get those late long offensive rebounds by Rondo and co would be a really similiar game than the game 3 and it would be a 2-2 series. I think yes and I never saw a player make that to his own team.
We all know how this team has been playing and winning all the season. Based on the balance of two guys creating the offense, playing inside winning the battle inside with 3 big guys, crashing the boards and defending at elite level breaking the games like that then in transition. And this team in the two first games was clicking on offense even if in the Game 2 they didn't care to much on defense being AD our best thread on offense like he has been during all the playoffs.
But since the 3rd game this team literally changed his style of play and doesn't look like they have been playing, literally taking out our best scorer, doesn't getting touches or run the offense trough him and playing a 4 guys open and Lebron with the ball or pick and roll with Dwight always or then with Rondo-Caruso-Morris-Kcp making the screen. I mean for example AD shooting only 1 field goal in the 4th quarter of the Game 3 is weird... but even doesn't touching a ball or doesn't envolving him in the offense being in a corner catching dust is most weird. More when he was starting to going late in the 3rd. And yesterday was the same even worst or doesn't receive the ball in transition when he was in a good position to finish the plays.

Last chance of the year to show off the best basketball of the year.
Let the ball swing around on a string. Pass, don’t dribble.
We need to improve our movement of players off the ball and turn our noggins to full focus mode.
48 more minutes. Eliminate!

We better not lose in the Mambas this year. I'm well aware that that we will sooner than later, but not this year.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
