YES and YES, especially the former. I should be getting it every 15 days but almost mid Feb and I don't have my salary for the last half month of January!

as for the second question, what sucks is that the contract I signed for my promotion included an increase in pay. good? no. couple of months later, the salary scale was adjusted and newly hired employees at my level will be getting a higher pay but it started at the beginning of the year and I signed last October. I don't even have an overtime pay.

If you signed on a contract and the contract neglected to mention salary adjustments under certain circumstances, you can threaten legal action. Very few places will want to get a bad employee rep and will abide by your demands. Employee court cases are some of the easiest to settle.

As far as not being paid, have you considered talking to the company about it?

here's the tricky part. we actually have different types of contracts. mine only has a fixed salary and they already adjusted that to compensate for the benefits/privileges that I should be getting if I were to sign the other type of contract. in their defense, the salary adjustment that I was talking about only came up in mid November. my boss was actually considering to adjust my salary but I already signed the one in October and that is for a year. I told them that I'll resign first and apply so they can adjust it in my contract. of course I was kidding.

as for not being paid, I'll address the matter tomorrow since it's a Sunday today and no ones around except for us hard-working, non-paid people.
