Using us as leverage against whom at this point?

Also, I really doubt we're going to see much of anything done with Dwight until his back makes significant improvement.

Even Rudolph is jumping ship

I like the Lakers chance at getting D12 this time around. Like Richard Gere in An Officer and a Gentleman, he's got nowhere else to go.

well since Rudolph is Dwight's mouthpiece, maybe Dwight is more willing to sign with the Lakers now.

Not so fast he just said this.

The issue with teams involved in any Howard trade will have to convince him to stay and that's going to be tough. He still wants Brooklyn

Mitch needs to pay Mary Carey to say yes to D-Ho...... but only if he'll sign with us long-term

Not sure if this is good news or not, I prefer Mitch sticking to his MO as the silent GM.

Genius but I'm not sure this Dwight Howard thing will make it to a 4th thread. It has lost a ton of steam during this past week. Thread V sounds really interesting

Chris Mannix ‏@ChrisMannixSI
Factors in DH12/Lakers talk: Both DH and Bynum need to agree to extensions, third team must be recruited to add picks. Nothing close.

Chris Mannix ‏@ChrisMannixSI
On Houston/Howard: Been told reports that Rockets will just absorb all of the Magic's bad contracts are ridiculous.
