Since the Raptors are willing to part with Lowry over Calderon I would definitely try to snag him anyway possible.

ok, just found out la can't trade another 1st rounder until like 2021 or so. phoenix owns our 2015 pick, orlando owns our 2017 pick, and depending on conditions that are on those two picks there is the possibility that la can't trade it's 2019 pick either.

I have this odd feeling that Smith will be a Laker very soon. Smith-Clark as our new forward duo is interesting. On defense it's a nightmare for opposing teams. On the offensive end, both can cut and you can post up both guys on whoever is being guarded by a smaller wing.

Smith is a handful in the post and would prevent opposing teams from putting larger players on Kobe.

Take a look at Smith's numbers, he's a much better small forward this year than power forward.

oh, well to my knowledge you can't trade picks in consecutive years. and anyway, why would we want to trade the 2014 pick? that's the year we've got to start rebuilding.

I'm not saying they should, I'm saying they can and the consective pick thing is at the SAME time, i.e. you can't trade 2013/2014 the same time or same season. So with 2013 gone already once that draft is done 2014 is available and once 2015 is one 2016 is available, etc.

He probably gets waived now right? Sign him to keep Pau happy coming off the bench.

They just saved $13 mill by trading Prince for him. I think they might grant his wish if he wanted to play elsewhere.

thats a buyout then, no team waives a player making the kind of dough Jose is unless he becomes seriously cancerous to the locker room.

lol I was thinking this all day, I don't know why but the departure of both is likely.

Jsmoove meeting with the GM.
Pau upset he's not starting.
Plus getting Smith, Dwight would be a lock to resign.

I think we have to get back Zaza if we make a trade though, we need a backup center.

Gasol/Metta for Smith/Korver/Zaza

lol the hawks are not going to trade smith for gasol, most importantly because it completely ruins their plans of having max cap space this off season.

Only Toronto can acquire the best player in a trade and end up with more losses.
