We will find replacements if it comes down to that. I'm really happy with our number of GM's and players per team right now. I think we found our sweet spot.

Yes please! Or you could just not set your lineups like Lakersgm24.

Tugs defeated me twice during the regular season, but the last matchup was a close 4-5, so there's a chance for an upset!
You see what you're doing now?!

Curse of that #1 seed still alive.  Nobody ever won as a #1 seed.

Dear lord tugzer, it's getting embarrassing. You alone choked the chip 3-4 times as the #1 seed.

Looks like a KJG/Ty finals. That's like how do you prefer to die at this point. These bastards will have 5 rings between them. :nonono: :nonono:

I don't even remember who else has won it besides these two at this point, that's how bad this **** is.

LOLOLOL THE FANTASY BASKETBALL GODS ARE CONSPIRING AGAINST ME

Bye week when my top 2 fantasy assets went berserk, multiple ILs, OUTs, and GTDs and now, GAME SUSPENSION BECAUSE OF SMOKE AND A SPEAKER ON FIRE. Just when Brissett looks like he's gonna have a monster game smh

I don't know what to feel. Then seeing Davion Mitchell blow up from that Hali trade now when I had the chance to get him but I took Duarte

Really feels like everything is falling in place for Ty this season

Add to the fact I squeezed two picks out of you for a guy who is not even helping you out right now.

And I will draft the best fantasy player in the draft with one of the said picks. Then you can cry some more.

Can you wipe my tears with the other pick and give it back to me?

Man, Hart would've been big for me. You had to jinx his durability

Nah, I'll probably use it on a lumbering twig like Walker Kessler. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Go ahead you ****, take him before I do.

I watched a player more this year than ever before. It became an obsession. I never wanted a player more and mind you, I plan on getting him with the 9/10th pick.

I would've EASILY taken him at #2 if I had the #2 pick, even if he's not even a lock of making the top 15 real NBA DRAFT.
I couldn't pass on Chet but I'd easily pass on everyone else for him.

Not even Barnes, Giddey and Haliburton had my jimmies rustled as much and and I scored every one of them after the 5th pick.

I'll make a kilometric post about my guy when it's my time to draft....and I'll quit the league if anyone gets him before I do.
I can't live in a world in which he's not on my team.

Underrated as **** and I'm willing to bet anything he's gonna end up at worst the second best fantasy player in this draft after Chet.
Maybe even first if he's drafted by the right team.

Tell me about it. I gotta live with the Thunder being bitches and resting a healthy SGA, Morant has been out all week, Herro is missing games all of the sudden, I just cant catch a break with injuries, I swear it's the same story every year.

I enjoy the moneyball aspect as well.

Ro raised some good points about contraction, particularly the elegance of 10 team scheduling, a deeper free agent pool and the ongoing difficulty of finding quality replacement managers. The RealGM forums are slowly dying as older users leave and younger people are just using reddit.

Ultimately, Ty is the one deciding, so it appears like we'll be keeping this format for now and endeavoring to find some replacement managers.

I've been watching... didn't want to jinx it.

Last month I was wondering if I would even keep my playoff spot and now I'm on the verge of upsetting the number one seed.

My team has had 4-5 players on the IL for all the regular season, so It's only been the last two weeks, that my team has finally been 100 percent health (not counting Sexton, who I traded for mid-season knowing he was out for the year).

So I'm not totally surprised, but still, I didn't think I'd been competing for the championship so soon, I thought that would happen next year.

It's still moneyball IMO. Two new players per team added via contraction draft doesn't change the fact that we carry 25 guys on our team for most of the damn year. You still have plenty of room for gems or to stash and watch players grow.

It's the competitiveness aspect. You get a fair schedule for all, active users and you don't get to see skewed results in the end.
The competition would astronomically improve.

As KJG mentioned, Lakersgm has not set his lineups for weeks. That skewed up the overall seeding and maybe even the overall champion.
Even if he set his lineups just during the playoffs against KJG, he may have not even advanced and got to play in the Finals like he's bound to.

Also Earl has carried the Wayne Ellington's, Raul Neto's and Andre Iguodalas of the world for all season. Yes, he did set his lineups weeks in advance but he clearly wasn't here for close to all year. He didn't bother making adds and trades, he didn't IL guys and replaced them with other IL's when they got back, anything.
That skewed up the end result as well, no way a roster such as his is not making the playoffs if he's engaged.

My only gripe with the 12 man league is the schedule. But I can get over that if everyone is active. When they're not, it's too big of a problem and history shows that replacements are not guaranteed to be active, if you can find them in the first place.
Every single year with the 12 man roster we had both the unbalanced schedule and the inactivity issues.

I still see no issue with a 10 man league and have not received an argument against it.
Will obviously approve of any decision to be made though.

Not sold yet on Chet as number one. I wish Scoot Henderson was eligible for this year's draft.

Now that it looks like I'll be drafting in the 11-12th range, players like Jaden Hardy & Mathurin will be off the board, so I'll likely be trading all of my picks. My roster is full, and I still need to slot in Sexton.

I'm already mentally preparing myself for Westbrook to get the John Wall / Kemba Walker treatment next year...

It's a weaker draft at the top, that's for sure. That's why I was content in giving up my 1st. There's waaaay more value to be had at the end of the first. People will be a little bit influenced by the real draft in taking guys who are clearly not fantasy friendly way too high(see Banch).

As I said, I'm really confident of getting the best fantasy player in the draft at the end of the 1st. I'd be interested in your picks as well, there's numerous guys I like in that range.

I'm definitely keeping the 23' pick under any circumstances though. Much more star power there.

Yo. Just hit me that you traded for Kawhi, Zion and Robinson this year.

Getting past the fact that you stole the latter two, your anus must be clenched at all times from now on.

You need to trade for Anthony Davis as well. Seriously, that's a must and it would be perfect. And immediately change your team name with any variation that uses the term "glass" on it.
Or the hospital.

You need some serious voodoo **** to get them together at the same time for more than 2-3 games.
