Asked about coach transition this time vs. in 2005, Kobe always lets Smush Parker have it. Easier because "Smush not next to me."

That was a HORRIBLE TIME OUT. You don't call a time out on that situation. Your best player had the ball where he likes (good to diagonally drive right and shoot on the elbow and at least he would take all of the time left on the shotclock.

and also, and most important IMHO, is that you don't let such a great team like the celtics to go to their coach and set their D and lock everyone up...

the passer would probably waste 5s just trying to feed kobe the ball while he's trying to seal his man... then he would probably take a fading awaying 20 footer and probably miss because Celtics D is too good on the HC set...

I'm glad he realized this and called the play to Bynum inside.

Artest always plays well against moronic SFs with kobe-like ego that want to beat him off the dribble...

Against artest you need to move off ball and if you do that he can't keep up with anyone anymore, not even scrubs like garcia, hayward, etc.
