Why would you want to lose Ennis for a one year rental of Davis?

The one the PHX really struggles is rebounding. Hill had 8 o boards last night. Is the second year of Davis' contract a player or team option? If it was a player option I would toss you Tolliver and a 2nd or 2, not sure if that'd get him though.

Tolliver is useless to us and the 2nd year is a player option which he will most certainly opt out of.

I'm not sure if this is the right direction. Have to look into roster fit. The team should first see what is has when it puts the right players in the right places. If anything a small move for a new SF (instead of Johnson who is a 215 lb PF essentially), would be more appropriate.

Is Rondo even worth going after anymore? I mean are we really targeting Rondo in Free Agency?

Would this satisfy anyone?

2 or 3 seasons ago I would have been thrilled, but now it just seems like a "Let's get anyone" move.

I like Rondo. The problem here is that if we thought our shooting couldn't get any lower, it will plummet.

In January:

Jordan Hill and Wayne Ellington to the Toronto Raptors for Landry Fields, Tyler Hansbrough, and Terrence Ross.

How about Hill for Igoudala? Great defender and would be an upgrade over Johnson.

Then use Nash's expiring contract and a 1st round pick for a C. Hibbert maybe?

Lin/Kobe/Iggy/Boozer/Hibbert would be a nice starting 5.

I like it but I don't see GSW being interested, Indy we might have a slim chance.

when do we start trading off pieces for picks?

I feel only Hill has any value to anyone right now, Nash would be more like using him to get a worse contract but with assets. Everybody else is either "meh" or want to keep like Davis, he's not new Hill

Looks good for us but why does Toronto do it?

- Ross is a SG playing SF. Can shoot the ball really well, but Johnson is a much better fit (defensively at SF) for starting lineup .
- Jordan Hill's added mid-range game, and familiarity with Lowry (played together on Rockets in 2010-2011)
- Landry Fields is dead weight/roster spot
- Hill is most productive player in trade and pushes Amir back to a bench role where he's better suited.
- Another big to matchup with Bulls
- Ellington gives them a replacement scorer for the loss of T-Ross, more accepting of a bench role

Comes down to if they think they could get more for Ross, because the future at SG for Toronto is DeRozan.

I just feel like Toronto could get more for a good 3rd year SG that's on the rise.
