No because Wiggins IS the next best thing

I doubt that, he doesn't seem to have that type of appeal to me.

I read a rumour that Lakers are interested in Deron Williams. However Mitch would want a draft pick which Nets do not have. Can you see it happening? If yes, what assets change locations and if no, why?

That would be such a huge contract to absorb and personally they shouldn't do it.

But he could go for peanuts, right? If so, definitely worth it.

I just feel like D-Will is an overrated PG and overpaid. If the Lakers don't land Smart in the draft, I would be content with Farmar as the starting PG going into next season to be honest. Lakers can try to go after an elite PG in the future.

IF Bucks interseted in dumping both Mayo/Illysova would anyone do this?

Mayo/Illysova/2nd
for
7th

I do not know how important it is for Bucks to drop both those overpaid/underachievers but it would free themselves of 16mill per year for the next 3yrs. Kinda gives new ownership a blank slate to play with, granted Milw isn't exactly a top FA destination. Anyways, this isn't some slam dunk trade for us either as we pretty much kill our 2015/2016 plan as well but if Orl or Utah is desperate enough to trade up we could end up with more asset and still obtain Exum. Mayo/Illysova could be of some use depending on who our coach is. So basically this year we go all in.

well thus the reason Bucks would remotely even be intersted. The draw back interest is the fact Milw isn't a prime FA destination so freeing up that much money doesn't do much for them. I'm only banking on the fact they have new ownership and dont want the uncessary baggage/cost that is Mayo in addition to Illysova, since both were signed under the old ownership.

Honestly I rather hold on to the 7 with hopes of either getting Vonleh, Gordon or Smart and if we are lucky Exum falls to 7th.

Someones gotta convince the Magic from picking up Exum.

I'm not sure about Exum's game yet. I could see him as a bust if he doesn't work on that stroke.

Kidd was a big time PG during his prime and still had no J thus the joke he had most of his career about the no J the J Kidd. It was only till much much later in his career he had a respectable 3pt shot. Thats not to say I think Exum has that potential but according to some scouts his shot is just flat at times which can be fixed.

Bill Simmons mentioned Al Horford as a trade possibility with the 7th pick. Who would pull the trigger on that? I would.

Would the Lakers want to move down to the 10th spot if Marcus Smart and Julius Randle are unavailable?

Id like to think Philadelphia would be open to a trade. Something along the lines of..

Lakers 2014 7th pick and Steve Nash

For

Philadelphia's 2014 10th pick, Thad Young and 2014 second round pick.

Lakers move 3 slots down to pick Zach Levine, Gary Harris, or Aaron Gordon and still would be able to get a second rounder.

Zach Lavine/Jordan Farmar
Kobe Bryant/Kent Bazemore
Thad Young/ 2014 second
Pau Gasol/Ryan Kelly
Greg Monroe/ Robert Sacre

This line up would be better than last years IMO but would depend on defense and coaching if they can take it to the next level.
