Re: Doomsday Scenario! (R.Hibbert)
I'm going to take full responsibility(blame) for us getting Hibbert.
I welcome our new slow-mo overlord with open arms.

Flip the script and you could easily say let's get a SF for the leftover money and find a cheap room exception PG. Could definitely go either way.
Cory Joseph + Dorell Wright imo.

Re: Doomsday Scenario! (R.Hibbert)
Apparently we're sending Majok and a future pick to Indy. Was actually impressed with Majok for the D-Fenders last year, thought he could be a Birdman Anderson type of player if he really put in the work. That pick better be heavily protected or a second rounder

Re: WE DID IT! (HIBBERT EDITION)
Hibbert fits with Kobe, just not with Randle, Clarkson or Russell on offense.

Re: WE DID IT! (HIBBERT EDITION)
Okay nothing is official but, am I to understand that Mitch agreed to take in a player that Indiana begged to not Opt-in to his final 16 million dollar salary..he did, and then they prayed they could get this STIFF off their squad, and Mitch agreed, and it was L.A. that had to agree to send not only a player, but as well as a future draft pick to the Pacers ?...is that correct ?

Re: WE DID IT! (HIBBERT EDITION)
Well, as long as the team is not giving up anything of significance and his contract is only one more. It's fine, I guess.
Under 30, a legit rim protector and former all star. He had a lot of confidence issues near the end of his tenure in Indy. Hopefully a new change of scenery will rectify that.

Can't wait to be frustrated with Hibbert and his lack of offense. Welcome to the team, hope we don't give up too many good picks.

Re: Doomsday Scenario! (R.Hibbert)
I'm happy to have Hibbert.
Still need a defensive SF, a backup C/PF, and a cheap, veteran, backup PG to teach Russell how to run a team properly.
Amar'e Stoudamire would still be ideal for that backup C/PF role, while Andre Miller and Nick Calathes fit well as backup PGs.
