Actually, an expansion team's best bet at being competitive would probably be to stash multiple players competing for the same minutes (ie. AFA, Mo Hark, Allen Crabbe), see who wins out and dump the rest all the while working the wire like a maniac. This should yield several promising prospects as well as a high draft pick after year 1. The rest of us can't afford to stash players with clouded futures save for the 1 or 2 Hinkies of the league, thus this process should prove to be lucrative in good time.

You can just dump Kyrie and Ibaka for more picks.

Who can an expansion team owner trade? Exactly.

More picks = More power

my definition of trust the process is slighty different than Hinkie's

i won't move young and talented players like them.

tugs wrote:FAs for the expansion team would be really weak. Protecting 8-10 and leaving 7 per team available would be the way to go but:

7 players x 12 teams = 84 quality players for 2 expansion teams

That's helluva lot of talent for two teams though. What happens then? Those unclaimed goes back to their former teams?

You keep the rights of those players, should they not be selected by the 2 guys

As many players you lose, as many spots you have to fill from the FA pool

Yep agree on that.

Whoa I thought Crawford was on the IL? Not that I'm taking him.

That was actually an excellent roster for Cobb. Wavy jelly cause he can't move his players.

Kobe>Jordan>God: Team Rating:232.22
Wavy Q: Team Rating:206.46
Ak7 - Team Rating:198.85
Tugs: Team Rating:194.48
TyCobb: Team Rating:191.41
Aaron_Gray: Team Rating:188.85
EArl - Team Rating:183.4
The Regime - Team Rating:183.27
Optms: Team Rating:166.4
Doormatt: Team Rating:160.04
ROballer: Team Rating:154.69
Mirjalovic: Team Rating:64.21

Just ran some numbers. K>J>G suffered alot of injuries last season, he has injury prone guys, but it lists his team #1--mostly due to Westbrook playing out of his mind. Wavy Q should definitely be amongst the top teams and he is according to the never to be mentioned system. Ak7 is another guy who suffered an injury to his main piece, if he can stay healthy he should be a high seed. Aaron_gray is low according to this, was last season as well, but I think he should be higher. I don't think his team played over their heads last season. Everybody else looks about right, althought Tugs maybe too high. We'll see.

Actually I'd probably rank myself after The Regime, Optms and Doormatt. I've lost Gorgui who was early 5th round value last year, and the writing is on the wall for PJ who gave me late 7th round value. On top of that, Knight figures to see a big drop in production and there are some big question marks hanging around my Euro bigs.

Those rankings are horse **** for a team like mine, where I bury 3/9 categories to the ground from the start

If this were a roto league, they would have been spot on
