Trying to help people who need help but aren't open to help sucks. No worse feeling than seeing someone dig themselves a deeper hole.

Kilroy wrote:Yeah I'd heard both versions a bunch of times but I couldn't remember which came first so I had to look it up.

There are a lot of B sides and studio recordings floating around out there for Holly, Valens, Eddie Cochran, etc... From the production quality on the recording I think he was just goofing around with the Frogman song...

Damn Kilroy, i'd LOVE to sit down with you and check out some records. It's like you know everything man. I'd say buddy was messin around too, though it's somewhat cool when he starts singing high, although the frogman's falsetto is much more refined, still cool.

I gotta look for those valen ones. i read somewhere evh said he was actually influenced by clapton, the interviewer was just as shocked since he sounds nothing like him. i could've read about someone else though, so i could be wrong. i'm gonna do a quick google search on that

true brother, true. the sad thing is deep down inside you know they gotta taste rock bottom before they change, but in that same region there's a repulsive feeling you can't shake. the feeling that they may like the taste of rock bottom for a while before a change comes. best of luck in your aid man, truly one of the worst feelings i ever had, seeing someone throw themselves away meanwhile rejecting every hand that begs them to hold on to it. :cry:

Sounds like you're dealing with someone who has an addiction, that always sucks. Good Luck.

Who's down to going to Migg's house and start an intervention? :wink:
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

The 9ners are young and athletic and I am pretty confident they'll be back in the hunt for many years to come.
They remind me of the 2008 Lakers who got smacked in the Finals.
Then what happened after, they DOMINATED the next two years!

Good God, Show some pride and confidence 9ners nation.

I don't condone the violence or riots by any means, the loss was extremely painful though. I havent seen a superbowl win in my lifetime (i was 5 when the 49ers won so i guess that counts but i have no recollection of it)

F*ck the ravens. Pittsburgh got tore up (at least Oakland) when we won in '05.

Then buy a 5m x 5m plot of land in the Alaskan wilderness. Tell them to dig for gold and you'll take 10% as the claim owner. I saw it on TV once.

all the cali members should meet up somewhere and then take a road trip across the U.S. and Canada and visit as many other members as we can. The trick is we find a way to make money so that by the time we meet all U.S. and Canadian members of the CT, we have enough money to go overseas and see the rest.

this has been mentioned numerous times before. I remember asking Slava, when he was still in St. Louis, to buy me a Hughes jersey and we'll meet up in Cali to get the jersey and meet with the rest of the CT fam.

Riot and Jetset used to have tea parties, pajama parties, and sleepovers. Ty peeps at them through his powerful imagination.

irl, only you and Matt and Ima get to meet up. :(
