Coots - she's not high maintainance actually. but considering we've been together for over a decade, for me I want the ring to say that. btw, all out on the wedding ring or you meant engagement ring?

doc - date's kind of set doc, either late next year or early 2015. again she's the practical type but I know you know that when women says no it basically means the opposite. it's almost 100% that all women dream of a grand wedding.

EArl - again bro, they say the opposite. they want you to figure them out. I'm asking for confirmation actually. she once said save it on the honeymoon and house but given the chance, I'd go all in for the proposal, wedding, and honeymoon. this makes me creative with my money as well.

Thanks for the input guys. Very helpful especially the questions you threw back at me.

You can purchase both as a set right? I would go all in for the engagement ring, and then just exchange bands or a simple golden ring when you get married. You don't always need both, but that's the route I go.

Oh, I'm buying from different jewellers. I'm also thinking on doing that. I prefer simple wedding rings as well.

Just out of curiousity what kind of budget are you working with? You don't have to answer that if you don't want to.

I'm too lazy right now to convert currencies and I'm not sure if you'll understand the buying power because of spatial differences but to answer your question, I have enough to go all out on the engagement ring and probably 1/4 ready financially for the wedding. pretty much following the engagement ring must be worth 2 months of your salary.

The good ole comm thread. Never ceases to amaze me whenever I stroll into here.

I open the thread and read a couple qoutes and was like:

My friend hooked up with a chick and went to her place last night after the bar. I call him today and he tells me the girl was a straight up freak, apparently she wanted to watch him masturbate while he put a finger in his ass. Dude is scarred now. Lmao.

Pulled my left hamstring and twisted my right ankle yesterday playing pickup ball. This honestly could come at a worst time as I have a big basketball tourney in Yuba City this weekend. I've been icing both every couple hours, hopefully they'll heal within the next couple days.
