It's not entirely crazy, you just gotta get the best rebounder, best defensive stalwart, and build around that to make it effective. Yes, Bogut can be had.

it's unwise to build your team in certain way in dynasty league.

you can get many potential all-star/superstars/1st rounders if you are lucky.

a team with Irving, Ibaka, Durant, Jason Kidd, LeRandle, Jeff Hornacek, Marion, Kobe, Klay etc is possible if you patient, and you can't stop them

like Barons 8-)

Double it up on defense and rebounding with Bogut and Gibson for Grant and Sullinger.

I actually need Grant more than Bogut..........and Bogut is old, injury prone and plays less each year

Who's assuring me he's not another David Lee next year?

I got a gazillion bigs who do what Bogut does already

Ro how are you going to win a championship when you're not even the best at 3 of your categories? Do you plan on winning points/turnovers against KJG's assist barrage?

It's impossible to be the best at 5 categories...the absolute, undisputed best

I'm trying to be as competitive as I can, and hope certain things go my way

This ain't an ideal world, a lot of things can happen in a weekly matchup, from injuries to bad scheduling..

I mean, with punting, it's easy to be bad at categories, hard to be good at them right. So when you're punting 4 cats, you really need to make sure you're dominant in the remaining 5. Given your record 3pt performance last year, we can probably agree that you're not winning ft% and 3s even with injuries and bad scheduling. So what happens if you meet Earl in the playoffs and he wins the steals cat?

Just ran some numbers. K>J>G suffered alot of injuries last season, he has injury prone guys, but it lists his team #1--mostly due to Westbrook playing out of his mind. Wavy Q should definitely be amongst the top teams and he is according to the never to be mentioned system. Ak7 is another guy who suffered an injury to his main piece, if he can stay healthy he should be a high seed. Aaron_gray is low according to this, was last season as well, but I think he should be higher. I don't think his team played over their heads last season. Everybody else looks about right, althought Tugs maybe too high. We'll see.

I'm just hoping to make the playoffs this year...

Looking at my roster, Z-Bo is an upgrade, but I don't have Kemba anymore. Josh Smith, Deron Williams, Lou Williams are on new teams, and Darren Collison and Pekovic won't start, so their contributions will all go down. I'll probably end up dropping one or both of Smith and Pekovic, who were borderline useful anyway.

Getting Melo back will help make up for losing Walker, and if Brook Lopez can just stay on the floor and play like he did at the end of last season, that will be a nice boost.

I'll tank certain games to make sure I win turnovers

He's not winning assists no matter what, so I'll make sure I switch steals with turnovers, if I can't compete in steals

I'm carrying two fewer point guards this year (Walker and Lin) and Collison is competing with Rondo, so my assists barrage is toast.

Elfrid Payton 11/6.5/8/ 2.1 spg....43% FG
Ty Lawson 14/ 3 /7/ 1.5 spg....45% FG
Dennis Schroder 13/2.5/5/ 1.0 spg.... 44% FG
Lance Stephenson 8/ 6 /3 / 0.8 spg....44% FG
Jerian Grant 10/ 4 /4/ 1.2 spg.... 43%FG
Andre Iguodala 9/ 4 /3/ 1.5 spg.... 47% FG

Wait. Why didn't I qualify last season again? See I didn't get an answer to that.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
