It was. Hard to have any respect for a fanbase that on one hand cries loud and hard about not getting respect for coming back for 3 down to beat the Jazz and the Clippers, while also crying about how the Lakers only won because of the refs... Only Nugget wins count. Loser mentality. I think they were looking for an achievement award before GM7 against the Clips.
Granted, it was only a few posters, but I didn't see any other posters calling them out either. And none of them congratulated us on the win.

In all the years I've been on RealGM, I have only posted on the GB maybe a couple handfuls of times... But all that whining made me turn troll a bit.
The Clipps fans and a few of the Nuggets fans deserved it I think...

They also are now essentially capped next summer between those 4 guys, too and don't have any trade assets so this isn't getting any better next year unless they pivot.

And Alvin Gentry, who can coach. Vogel and Kidd are set up to clash with LeCoach.

Depends heavily on injuries but it's possible with half-man-half-a-season and an aging lebron

Thunder have MUCH more talent than the Lakers right now though. Do you anticipate some big trades from the Lakers?

Exactly! OKC has a team, Lakers have LBJ, AD and bunch of janitors.

Fully agree. With the Roster that the Lakers,I expect them to win no more than 42 games next season.I wouldn't be surprised if they win around 35 games.

I could see the Lakers adding 10 wins to last year's total.

So proud of this team. So proud of this board and fanbase.

We've been through some s**t the last 10 years. Obviously our history is what it is and we're pretty spoiled in the grand scheme of things. But these last 10 years have been tough. These last 8 months have been gut-wrenching and heartbreaking. For this team to put aside all the noise, all the emotions, and even get to a Finals appearance.. it's unbelievable.

We have got to finish this. Kobe's imprint is all over this team and it has been ever since Rob was hired. And his past quotes are echoed amongst these guys every day.

Job's not finished. 4 more to go. I hope these guys are prepared to battle like they've never battled before. Every loose ball, every rotation, every closeout, every minute, every second. We gotta want it more than anyone else on that floor in Orlando.

Yeah it ruined the game threads for me.

There were some incredible plays from both teams and it was impossible to get the board to appreciate the games.

When you have no chance of playing D Mano to Mano, you retorts to impede progress by jumping in front and draw a charge. That’s what Grant, Murray, and Milsap did the entire series. They should be renamed to the Denver Timbers. I have never seen so many players fell like they did, especially Milsap. That dude seems to fall right on contact. But yeah congrats to them even making it this far. They already celebrated with water champagne after beating the Clips.

What seems reassuring at least is watching Lebron and AD walk around post game during interviews etc, and both seem energized. Neither are limping around despite ADs ankle and LeBron playing a ton of minutes.

Well, I don't wanna crack on Magic. Sure his commentary sucks, this player good, that player bad, discuss. But after a win there's enough good to go around. Magic did sell Bron, and Bron brought in AD. I cant even get down on Jerry West, for saying the Clippers are the best organization he's been with blah blah...Magic, Jerry, all these greats still hold a place of Honor within the Nation.
