though I have a feeling if this security problem keeps happening. psn might start charging for internet like xbox live, to get better servers.

I am curious to know how many "collectors" are on this forum in regards to sports card, autographs and membrobilia.

I've been thinking of creating a challenge for lakers fans where the winner will get an auto'd Kobe or Magic card or jersey, etc.

Not like a fantasy league or anything like that but something fun involving trade scenarios, etc ... we'll see how it all comes together.

I'd probably want to cover my costs so there might be a small fee but who knows, maybe it'll be free ...

Anyways, are there any collectors out there and if so, what are some of your fave items, or what is something you'd love to get one day?

I first started messing around in the sp&m (sports cards and membrobilia) market back in 1989 and remember one of my first purchases being a counterfeit Pippen rookie card, man was I ticked. When 92' rolled around Shaq was the god of collecting and I assembled quite a collection ... which I turned into a massive Kobe Finest rookie card collection in 1997, which I turned into a massive Kobe Topps Chrome rookie card collection later that year ... which I ended up selling and using the funds to purchase some great property ... anyways collecting has been good to me and while I don't really "collect" anymore I still snap up a bargain when I see one and would love to own a few choice collectibles in the future.

At present my top collectibles are a dual auto'd Kobe and Lebron card and a 1/1 (only one in the world) Kevin Durant autographed rookie card ... wait till I change my name to KD_in_LA come 2015 or so, hahahahaha.

Let me know your thoughts everyone ... and especially let me know if I ran a contest who you'd rather win an auto of between Magic and Kobe and what you'd rather such as a ball, jersey or sports card ...
