I think it might be both since Lonnie in the same vein as Malik Monk and is priced out with his play stepped up this year compared to years past

So Lakers would have to decide what to do with Rui and now Dlo, both free agents. They can match Rui but Dlo is UFA.

Also Kyrie may be out there as well.

He was a cancer and everyone knew it. Surprised he took this long. Congrats to him to revamping into a new role and being somewhat accepting. But his ill advised shots and awful passing light night was just im so glad he gone. Will alonnie/Pat Bev be packaged for a shooter next?

Good think Dlo is 26 and they I have bird rights so a sign and trade is always possible if Kyrie says he wants LAL. Let’s see what DLO is does he could play his way for a formidable future in LAL now that Nick Young is gone

I'd prefer a big. I think we're good at the wing now by having Rui and Vanderbilt. We just need another big just in case AD or Bryant goes down. I mean, Bryant is the only legit C that we have now (I still think AD is a 4). A C that could defend the paint and crash the boards will be good.

Won't work out this season, will take time to gell - same as Dallas - get to know each other, but next season If they can stay healthy look out Suns

Even though I wasn’t even interested in crazy Kyrie and I like the Lakers adding multiple quality players instead of one, I still wouldn’t look to do business with the Nets out of principle.

That Mavericks package they accepted looks absolutely ridiculous in hindsight following what they took for KD. Screw BKN.

You guys should call Brooklyn about Dinwiddie, DFS, Bridges or Cam all morning.

They do have a log jam of wings but they probably wish to drop below the luxury tax threshold too. So I can see smaller moves like trading Crowder into someone's trade exception or Patty Mills to San Antonio to generate a trade exception. Lakers can absorb Watanabe into the 2.2M exception they created from the three way trade.

We’ve had a roster makeover in the last couple of weeks:
Hachimura, DRuss, Beasley, Vanderbilt are very solid rotation guys .
Out are Nunn, Russ, JTA, Jones , and a 1st.

Definitely an upgrade .
Let’s hope it’s not too little too late

Woj: Nuggets Acquire Thomas Bryant From Lakers For Davon Reed, Three 2nd Rounders

I'm not sure I like this. Bryant was playing very well for us. We are thin on bigs.

We aren't. Davis is playing the 5 full time now and Vando can back him up when he sits.

Bryant was useless. He didn't play close to nothing since Davis was back.

We can use the 2nd rounders in other deals.

Well, I ain't gonna say bryant was useless. I mean, why did he play and why was he here? No one to date can guarantee ADs presence and availability full time

Bryant was solid but as I think about it, we got a bunch of picks for a min guy we got in FA and was going to ask for more money than we could give after the season, and who apparently was unhappy with his minutes and role on the team.

Opens up minutes for Gabriel and Vanderbilt too
