Happy for JC and DLo. I can see Mamba blood (or balls) whenever the game is close and on the line, and they try to take over.
Russ has grown so much he's an All Star. Jordan's recognition when to score and pass have vastly improved as well. The Clippers game earlier showed a lot.

DLo has most definitely improved and looks great. Jordan has improved volume and other than that, not so much. He did land in a great spot to play his kind of ball though.

Russell, yes. Clarkson is nothing and showed nothing vs. the #DTLAClippers. Bryant shot around 30% when he played with Clarkson, he learned nothing good from bryant. It wasn't until after DLO left Bryant that he got to shine. Bryant won 17 games his final season

Man oh man I wish there was a way to get Devin Booker. He’s the perfect player to play along side LeBron. I just want to win again...this playoff drought sucks...

Re: Around The NBA X
And so Butler puts his finger on the reason this era if the NBA is so mediocre:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/jimmy-butler-shares-why-he-thinks-tom-thibodeaus-coaching-style-isnt-conducive-to-the-nba/ar-BBVmc5h
The conversation took a turn, but Butler got it back on track and conveyed his point.
“Hell yeah it’s different,” Butler said. “Buzz Williams, who is a lot like Thibs in the sense that they’re going to yell at you, they’re going to motherf— you, they’re going to say it all, that’s how they talk to you. I think in the league you can’t really talk to nobody like that. You know what I mean?”
“Yeah,” Evans said, “it’s like a child actor if you’re making more than your parents —
“Exactly.”
“— they kind of can’t tell you to clean your room.”
*crickets*
“I did not say that,” Butler said, “so you’re not going to say I told little kids not to clean their rooms ... something like that. It’s tough to yell at a grown man who potentially is making more money than you. Not saying that you shouldn’t listen to people, but it’s a different level.”

His point is kind of negated if you are playing for someone who has more rings than you though....

LOL Beverly shoot's 40% from 3 ... 41.5 <> something from FG sick defender <> I was more talking about his defense him and Ball as defenders in the back court <> but Beverly is a great shooter just doesn't get the ball much <> at least from the games I seen <> not many. I'll be writing a post over wknd when I have time
Stay tuned

Re: Around The NBA X
Man, I know these guys are put in a situation where their games can flourish, but I'd pay to watch a bad blood game between this current Lakers squad against those we weren't patient enough to wait for:
Russell
Clarkson
Nwaba
Randle
Nance Jr.
Bryant
Zubac
Russell and Clarkson chucking away with high energy hustle guys to crash the boards or roll and pop with them seems to be the perfect fit. Point Nance or point Randle can create mismatches as well. Then you got those bigs shooting 3s and you have Nwaba and Randle bulldoze their way inside, or Russ and JC dissecting the middle. Or dump to Zu.

Randle went 34,10 and 3 yesterday in their win over the kings... Shooting 50% and 5/7 from 3...
It's crazy the leap these guys made.
