I don't even think that team makes the playoffs. Here's the 8 that made it last year

Los Angeles Lakers
LA Clippers
Denver Nuggets
Houston Rockets
Oklahoma City Thunder
Utah JazZ
Dallas Mavericks
Portland Trail Blazers

Also keep in mind the sun's picked up CP3 and the warriors are getting curry back. The West is tough.

I think they have a shot at the 7-8 seed. I expect the Rockets and Thunder to either barely squeak in or miss the playoffs. I could see the Pelicans battling with the Suns/Rockets for the 8th seed.

Zion's health should also factor into the equation.

what is your opinion on why the Clippers haven't addressed their biggest weakness (a Floor General PG)? do you think they are fixin' to trade for one? maybe give up Lou and Bev for somebody like Westbrook or some other PG? I am just waiting for the Wojo bomb to drop

I have a feeling there's going to be a Raptors reunion brewing at the Clippers camp. They will try to get Lowry but Raptors will be asking for a lot and they don't have picks to offer. Lou and Zu may not be enough. Kyle is getting old and Toronto will probably be looking for younger players and/or picks. It's going to take another team or 2 to make it happen.

double edge sword, giving up Zu leaves a big hole at the 5. Serge won't play 35 mins.

All the Lakers draft picks except Lonzo got paid, D’Angelo, Ingram with the max deals, Randle did well for himself, nance got a market value extension in Cleveland, Clarkson will make over a $100M, Zu did well and Mykhailuk will get paid in Detroit as well. Good job Joey Buss and the scouting department.

If I was him I would bank on the Raptors to have Lowry set me up. The Warriors already have BAzemore to reclaim as a project.
He's already hella thin

Ingram still is a horrible defender at the 2, 3, and 4. He still is a guy who gets numbers in losses and does not be efficient, case and point, he was below or when Zion returned. And he was bad in the bubble when they played games that mattered and he could have earned a playoff spot he didn’t deserve.

And then there is Zo who again was horrid in the bubble when games mattered.

They aren’t good or mature enough to do it. Bledsoe and JJ need be starting if they have a chance to make the playoffs.

They tried to force Harrell to Charlotte to get Rozier who has some nasty in him and playoff experience. When Harrell didn’t do a sign and trade because they just wanted him to do it, they lost out.

They really have no assets. Bev, Lou, and Zu aren’t we ough to come close to matching Russ or Wall in a deal money wise. They barely add up to Lowry who by all accounts was vocal in Toronto about not liking old management.

The best hope the Clippers have is giving their BAE to Darren Collison and trying to get him out retirement again despite him saying he was good at home.

Rose doesn’t like big market media and exposure mentally. Thomas says he is better and healed but he’s been saying that for years. Why would OKC send them
George Hill and make their picks or swaps worse?

I mean they don’t even have the deals to make a Conley trade. They would have to give up 3 or all 4 of Lou, Bev, Zu, and Kenard which would be funny.

There ain’t a deal out there where Lou alone can get them that PG they need. If they had common sense they would have given DJ Augustin red carpet treatment because at least he’s used to starting, making decisions, and all. One person should have been at his door with the BAE like they were giving Serge the MLE. He ain’t spectacular but DJ could have been their Jackson, Fisher, Ward, Harper, Avery type of role playing pg who was decisive in his decisions

Lonzo not due till next year so he can still get paid, but granted it's a big if. hopefully we can get him back on the cheap.

I see Zo getting paid next year solely because he is restricted and MJ seems too much of a business man to not try andf pair the Ball boys up and make money off them

Ingram’s defense is full of super promise, was already a solid defender when still with us. His defense is good, his offense is very efficient. And I’d still argue Lonzo is one of the best defensive PGs in the league for his age. With the moves they just made, don’t under estimate them.

Fox and Tatum are from the same class and both of them made bank. I have my reservations on Zo but I think the Pelicans might get him for a discount contract if he is behind Bledsoe in the pecking order.

You don’t think Jordan will give him a good offer sheet to be matched? For a team low in attendance, the ball bothers attraction seem like a great marketing scheme

Lonzo has a tendency to hide and if you put him alongside his attention seeking, ball demanding brother, there's a risk he'll totally disappear.

I didn’t say they would be good ?!!

Lol I said the Hornets/Bobcats have only made the playoffs 3x in history and have been bottom in attendance the past few years ... I can see MJ saying what an attraction to sell at the gate, which he’s never had

I have a feeling Flippers are going to flip PG for a point guard. I am enjoying their lackluster offseason though. I hope they don't land a point guard and end up signing Jeremy Lin and his fans.

Edit: Now that I'm thinking about it, I think Flippers gut their depth for Westbrook.

Is Jalen Rose OK? He looks like he lost a ton of weight and his voice even sounds a little shaky?
