Derrick Williams torching the Clips for 27 points on 9/10 shooting off the bench so far 8-)

Wolves' bench outscores LAC's bench 72-11

Clippers about to hit a stretch where I predicted them to start sputtering. This team is so damn predictable, fall behind....starts jack'in 3's and play no defense. Playing from ahead.....looking to constantly make a hightlight play....failed lobs, bad shots, unforced turnovers. The media and their newly inflated fan base can keep thinking this team is for real, but I know better....this team is nothing but a younger version of the 05-08 Suns.

Man, I'd almost kill to have Iggy + Holiday on this team.

I think OKC is really the only team these Lakers can't beat. If they get a PG they might even have a chance against OKC. That said Portland is an ugly matchup for OKC in the first round.

Couldn't agree more

We might even surpass them even with what we have right now,let alone if we get a competent PG

I'm actually surprised at the situation we're in,I said earlier this season that a 2nd round is the MAX we can get with this core of guys, now I'm inclined to say a WCF is not out of the realm of possibility if we don't meet OKC in the first two rounds

There's no beating OKC though, without an upgrade here and there

Yeah,my opinion too(talking about the west only)...

i do agree we could probably beat any team sans OKC in the west (granted our roster stays teh same), but we could also easily get taken out by somebody like memphis or dallas again. if by some miraculous miracle we made it to the finals, we'd either get crushed by miami, or probably lose in a close series to the bulls. although surprisingly, id like our chances more against Chicago than OKC. of course im assuming gasol doesnt break down and bynum stays healthy, both pretty big ifs imo.

OKC has an ugly matchup against Portland. As for Miami we'll see. Someone is going to give them hell with a strong zone and it could be Boston who would then get taken out by Chicago.

lol... don't know what boston team you've been watching, but miami would dispose of them rather easily in the playoffs. Chi has amazing defence, but not enough firepower offensively.

I'd rather the lakers not get to the finals than face miami... i dont think we would even win one game. we have 0 chance vs miami with this roster... if miami took the night off, we might win 1 game, that is all.

LO to the D-League, there is something I could never predict. Especially coming off his best year, the NBA can be quite the harsh mistress.

Now according to the wiretap they've cancelled his D-League assignment because they feel they need him for tonight's game... Another team beginning to sputter if you ask me.

Calderon sounded like a solid move. Hope something works out. I thought about adding him a while back but I thought it'd be a trade.
