I wonder how long the lakers are going to play this game before they pull out and sign Bynum to an extension.

hopefully not for long dude.. At first I was pretty exciting about getting Howard and ****, but I'm just exhausted of all the rumors. From now on, I'm fine with maintaining with Drew in our lineup

Re: Howard Thread Pt. III
While it's possible that the trade talks go another 2.5 weeks (thereby making Waiters a possibility in the deal), there's reasons it's unlikely. It's probably most likely that trade talks go for another week or so until the Asik stuff is set, and Houston can offer the best package they can muster. The Asik signing (if there is one) provides a good excuse to wait, but after that I don't know if everyone is going to be patient.
If Orlando delays this long enough for Waiters to be eligible for trade, then that likely means the Houston rookies will be signed, as I can't see Houston not signing them well into August (and therefore a trade including them cannot happen until 30 days after they sign), and other possible sign&trade pieces in an ORL/LAL/CLE trade cannot happen for a while either (if guys like Jordan Hill, Alonzo Gee, etc. sign new deals they cannot be traded until December 15th).
If the Magic are willing to let those deals go and remain patient, then yeah, it could go for awhile and signed rookies could come back in the picture. But that's risky for getting anything done with LAL/CLE.

@SamAmicoFSO: Lakers will not take Jason Richardson. He supposedly has personal issue with Steve Nash. @withmalice @enc0ur
@SamAmicoFSO: Whether the Jason Richardson & Nash issue is a "false rumor" or not, I can tell you with confidence Lakers wouldn't take Richardson.

As I've said before either make a 4-way trade with Wolves or trade for him then flip him to the Wolves... the Wolves need Richardson as they lost out on Batum.

@MySportsLegion: Cavaliers inform Magic & Lakers they are not willing to trade Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, or Tyler Zeller in three team blockbuster.

So what would the Wolves be willing to trade that LAL would take back? Or what would ORL like if MIN was involved as a fourth team? Wes (with TO in 13-14)?

They would have to add at least 2 decent first rounders then to the Magic... SMH
