From what I've read today it's likely a vitamin deficiency combined with preexisting stress fractures.

I actually like the said person. That said person hasn't even died in the comics so the show is officially different from the comics.

Oh yeah the ending was horrible too.

I always hated it - what a dickle it was for no reason. Like it was very (Please Use More Appropriate Word) this season to the point that it annoyed me.

I don't get why the switched off the comics, but whatever. I'm not a purist.
