It's crazy the leap these guys made.

And its common place for him to be booed at PElicans games because he is that bad on D and breaks the O. They tried to deal him but couldn't for good reason. He will still have no market. He is the modern day Shareef Abdur Rahim and has been since he entered the league. A bad defender, a net wash or loss on O, non-elite rebounder, and not a leader.

Stop making things up. Yes his defense is bad this year but so is everyone elses on the Pelicans. If any team needs a coaching change it's the Pelicans. Even ADs defense has been lackluster.

Defense is a team aspect of the game. The "individual" defense thing is very overrated. Effort is what's lacking with Randle. He's always been able to stay in front of smaller guys on the perimeter and has always had little understanding of a full team defensive concept. Coaching is the key as is consistency with a unit. NO hasn't had that.

Dallas @OKC, playoff implications at stake!! OKC may slip into 8th seed, can't afford to lose this game!

Clippers have a better chance of getting 7th seed, face DEN who will likely finish 2nd seed. OKC was supposed to win this game! :banghead: I'm actually going to the #Clippers game tonight!!

I’d take Julius Randle over any and every FA Magic signed this past offseason. Twice over.

Not Javale. Javale has been better than him this year and impacts a game more at a third of the cost. Now Rondo for Randle with them staying where they were holds merit, but Javale is a better player than Randle and helps a team trying to win more.

Hell I just left the Lakers - Pelicans game and watched him getting booed. Randle is like Nick Young, keep his ass on a leash and a minute count if you’re going to try and win

Ad’s defense suffered because Randle needs to be covered for more so than Cousins did. He has no concept of what all the other pelicans are doing. He loses his guys, gets back footed, doesn’t rotate, and then break their offense on the other end to get his. They **** their season the second they started him as opposed to sticking with AD and Miotic as the big minute guys

Julius is what a -1200 point plus player on his career as Max Kellerman pointed out for a reason when SA Smith said he should’ve been brought back

I’ll take Randle over Javale easily. You talk about min restrictions, but the Warriors were playing Javale 10 min a night to get the most out of him. And the Pelicans were better this season when Julius was on the floor. We were worse when Javale was on the floor.

Honestly, I'd hope we can get more complete players than either of them going forward. Randle can score off the bench and that is something we need. McGee can defend the paint and rebound consistently and we need that too.

I can see where McGee's head is at..... Randle's too. if I needed a paint defender and a rebounder for 15-20 minutes I'd take McGee. If I needed points off the bench I'd look at Randle. Paint defenders are a little more rate than guys who can score off the bench. I'd look elsewhere for both needs and settle for these guys if I'm being truthful.

Bev is an emotional leader this year for the Clippers! Along with Trezz... Clipps will be wise to re-sign him. I'm sure that Jerry West will make the right moves

Yeh but how much they willing to give him? <> I know his 30 and all, but still a good player, plays D, shoots the 3 etc not going to demand playing time and that's important IMO especially if we keep basically the same team and add that 2nd star <> not going to be enough ball to go around - - - I'd offer 10 Mil easy, but that's my IMO and only after we get that 2nd star

^^ slim dog, yeah PBev won't command more than $10m/year. He is injury prone too, I think he was out most of last year to a knee. He's from Chicago's westside which turns out very very very gritty guys. He's 6'1" but plays like he's 6'10"

Watch the Youtube videos of PBev and Westbrook, good stuff.

Jimmy Butler rumors swirling in past 24h.

So my wife has been wanting to cut the cable tv cord and I refused because of the Lakers channel. But I finally gave in and we went with the cheap package on satellite. Now I can’t even watch the Lakers on national tv because they are blacked out in my area. Not that I care much for the rest of the season, but what about next season? I tried NBA tv years ago and it was a pain in the butt. Has it gotten any better? Would you recommend it?

YouTubeTV is great, only around $35/month with no commitment. You can share your subscription with 5 family/friends, no additional cost. If you have ROKU (which I totally recommend!!) then you can watch everything on your TV. Unlimited Library space for recordings, it's awesome, plus you get a lot of channels. they have a list of channels on youtubetv.com ESPN, TNT, NBA channel, etc... only issue is for example, I got blacked out on the Lakers game on TNT last night b/c I live in LA. down in SD, maybe you don't get blacked out on Lakes games.

get the ROKU Ultra, a few extra bucks. With the wife, you will be glad you have the earphone connection. It's the way to go. Spectrum....yeah that is better I suppose for Lakers games. Also I streamed off Reddit for my first time last night, not too bad.

I use Hulu TV and love it. Has most everything I'd every watch. We also have Netflix and Amazon Prime (my wife shops a lot.... a lot!). All together it's about $42 a month or so. For the NBA I watch the soviet simulcasts..... I do get the national games because I'm in the Phoenix area.

NBA TV's quasi deal with DiretTV and Dish (and other cable providers) has them not doing any direct streaming or being offered in the cord cutting packages. That will change soon is my guess.
