Von Wafer

by what would jack bauer do?
Anyone know what happened to him? I thought he was heading back into the NBA a couple months ago. I'd like to see the Lakers sign him to bolster our weak bench. Sasha is soft and becoming a bit of a problem and Wafer's jumper is a little more consistent than Shannon's and Luke will be rusty and likely prone to further injury since he'll basically be in preseason shape trying to rush himself into playoff form.

Anyways, Wafer has two training camps in the triangle under his belt for Pjax and he's spent a whole year in the triangle even though they were only spot minutes. I think he could give Artest that 10 minutes of rest in the playoffs by playing some sf even though he'd be out of position. He also could be a bit of an athletic energy guy. Anyone else think he could help? or do you guys think our roster is good as is for the playoffs?

We can't get him because he was signed to a 10 day contract by Dallas but I would love to sign him for next year if we can't get JJ Redick or Anthony Morrow

Von would have been a nice addition considering our bench struggles. Despite our lack of depth, the front office has seemed reluctant to go after any players on waivers.

Agreed. Shannon is also better, Wafer is redundant.
