First time I did it a week ago, we were upset by the Suns in round 2.
EDIT: Just did it again. Took me 4 times to get the Lakers the 'ship. Before it picked: Suns, Cavs, Magic...Hollinger...you disappoint me.

Hollinger's ratings are alot like football's combine. And he is Al Davis picking guys who have hall of fame combines and zero luck in the way of winning. The suns are Jamarcus Russell

I put it on the board for fun more than anything, not to discuss it in detail. It' s just kinda fun to mess around with.

I just simmed it using "Hollinger Playoff Odds" Mavericks had 4 straight upsets over Jazz, Lakers, Suns and finally the Cavs to win it. Then I did it again and Lakers beat the Celtics.

I use NBA 2K10 to SIM. West/East playoffs to the finals. But you have to make sure the rosters are all correct and you have to adjust stats. It does not have to be perfect stat wise, this would allow for injury effects, exhaustion and other things that affect player performance during the finals and playoffs.

Yeah I saw this a few weeks ago, you get different results every attempt, what's the point then of the simulation?

It gives fans of teams that have realistically no shot at making it out of their slots hope, I guess. I messed with the thing 20 times, and surprisingly, the Bucks upset the Cav's twice, the Thunder upset us about 8 damn times, and Dallas and Phoenix upset the league 2 times a piece. Go figure.
