Maaaaan! I've been sayin' that since day one. These dudes here talk smack about Pau all day long. If Pau hatin' was an occupation these dudes would have full time jobs! He's soft this, he's soft that blah, blah freakin' blah. Truth is who is gonna get those numbers on this team if he is gone?! Pau and Kobe are like guaranteed to get 40 to 50 a game alone! Like every game! It takes the 3 Celtics to scratch at that. Try to tell those kids but them knuckle heads don't listen! Yo, Pau is PROVEN by himself. You can't say that about anyone on the Celtics, Cavs, Nuggets, and Spurs. Only person you can say that about these days is Wade. Carry a team every year on your back time and time again no Allstar help. Pau has done it in the NBA and he's done it in the Olympics.

yeah Im joking but for a while i wasnt. the trick is can pau average those big papa numbers once kobe and bynum come back

I can see him complaining about touches, and I can see our team struggling again. Some people cannot see that the lakers use to play the best bball when Gasol is onfire.

And who turned the ball over and missed shots and passes down the stretch at Denver? Gave up a rebound and missed the 3 vs Portland...

I love Pau too, and he is really starting to play well and in rhythm. He's a stud and one of my favorite players because of his cerebral nature...

BUT

He still has glaring flaws, mainly he still is soft at times and isn't the dominant personality that closes and flat takes over games. He's just naturally a complimentary personality. He's the guy that will do it when he absolutely has to, not all the time. His length? no excuse not to be 3 blocks a game. I'll give him, he stepped up big against Howard in the finals, and has played really well vs TD at times, and he'll dominate lesser guys at times, but he's no killer and thats why he won't win us a chip, Kobe will.

He's our biggest piece besides Kobe for sure, and I'm stoked he's playing this well, but lets not forget who will really bring it home. He's our Pippen and I love him, but Kobe is the man and if he doesn't do it, we won't win period.

Pau is playing liek prime Shaq...

in the last 3 mins of the 4th he is coming up empty

I love Gasol and I think his best games are ahead of him in the post-season. I hope he feels that the title is his and that these teams need to pry it away from his cold dead hands... thats the only way he will give up.
