They need to go at them hard, make shots and play some defense. They need to be inspired and have a little attitude in there game.

Remember they were 2-2 vs. Houston last year. So this is not new ground. They won that series.

They need to use this game to prove a point. This cannot be a 5 point win but a 25 point blowout. They need to pound the Thunder from the get go and never let them loose. There are no other alternatives to this thing, we have to let them know who the f*ck the Lakers are!

Wake up and show these pumpers kids who's the champion !! If that's not in the mind of our players, then the season is mostly over.

Hmm. Dcash, considering La la was a perfect 3 - 0 with game 5's, you're taking the heat if we lose this one.

Nah. I kid.

Hahaha- but REALLY. o.0 Also, for those of you who pursue temporary hunger satisfaction that of the rate of a 14 year old boy. I present you with a temporary piece of eye candy. The booty to end all booty's. KNEEL I SAY, KNEEL. Control thyself, girl. :nonono:

"It's a must-win for us," Gasol said after Monday's practice. "They can afford to lose the game and then go back to Oklahoma and try to do their thing again and force that Game 7 ... We can't afford to lose this game.

"It's really a game where we want to establish ourselves and send a message to them that they might be playing well, they're played really well at home, they got two games, but that's all they're going to get ... We got to play harder, we got to play smarter than them and make sure we make a statement in that Game 5 and make them understand that there's no chance, there's no light."

Let's do Dis!!!!
Cheers. — Mags

The Big 3. Will give us what we need on a consistent basis. They are not the ones we need to worry about stepping up.

Kobe - needs to facilitate to set the down. Play in the post if he wants to take shots but avoid shooting from outside early on.

Gasol - I see Pau being the guy who is going to take the game over. I feel really good about Pau's recent comments. It appears that he is going to will us through this game.

Bynum - Bynum is going to need to be a presence tonight. Whenever he is in he needs to play big. He needs to give us a double double and alter any shots coming his way.

Either of these 3 will be the X - FACTOR. One of these factors needs to have a big game for us.

Odom - Got to show up tonight. Lakers cannot afford to lose this game and if Lamar doesn't show up the Lakers are going to be in a long night. If Lamar shows up this could very well be a blow out. OKC won't know what hit them if he shows up. How can the Thunder feel comfortable if the Big 4 all show up. So far its been Kobe/Bynum/Gasol showing up and the Thunder have gained confidence that they can have their way with them 3.

Derek Fisher/Ron Artest - These 2 fall in the category. Got to start hitting their shots at an efficient rate.

Bench - Mainly Farmar and Brown. They have got to give us something. The Thunder bench stepped up in OKC. I hope our bench took notice of how much easier life gets if the bench shows up.

Magic johnson's analyst of the lakers last game was horrible! what game is he watching? These soo called experts are stating the obvious while the obvious is being countered. "clearly LA has an advantage in the inside so pound it in there!" HELLO!!! they are freakin doubling off of our "shooters" and those missed outside shots leads to easy transistion baskets.
