Utah Jazz are a terrible road team against the Lakers. In their last 14 games against the Lakers in the Staples Center, including regular season and two playoff series, Utah Jazz are an astounding 0-14. (Denver Nuggets have not performed so well at the Staples Center either. In their last 14 games against the Lakers in L.A., Denver Nuggets are 3-11.)

Interesting fact to throw out there. The last time the Utah Jazz won in L.A. was January 1, 2006. Let's keep it that way.

Nice facts though

This year I predict Lakers in the NBA Finals. The road will not be easy. Lakers will make quick work of an undermanned Utah Jazz team. Have a tough series against the winner of the Spurs/Suns duel in the desert, but they will ultimately find a way to make a return trip to the Finals. The only team I see being able to beat the Lakers in the Finals are LeBron's Cavaliers.

(On a side note, I've been pretty money with my predictions in the past 4 Western Conference playoffs (06, 07, 08, 09). Going 4 for 4 with picking the Western Conference Finalists: Dallas in 06, San Antonio in 07, and Lakers in 08 and 09. I don't follow the East too much so I can't make any predictions there.

In terms of last 4 NBA Finals matchups, I'm 3-1. I selected Dallas to win against Miami in 06 but they lost, San Antonio against Cleveland in 07, Boston against L.A. in 08, and L.A. against Orlando in 09.)

Wow, I didn't realize Denver was 11-3, not that it matters, but that is pretty damned good for a team that is almost always around .500 on the road.

i'm assuming its suppose to be 3-11, not 11-3. it wouldn't make sense after the previous sentence "Denver Nuggets have not performed so well at the Staples Center either".
