Nice Cash with the GT early, I also put up the GT on the GB, I get tired of these stragglers and haters making a thread concerning us and who ever. It's either us or a Jazz fan make it and I'm cool.

But I personally intend to shut these bozo's out the picture.

There isn't any reason for the team not to take this series seriously or have any lapses of such. Utah has a very dangerous player that will exploit our weakness', they'll play their best ball at home, and they have a great coach also.

But I love the way we ended the Oklahoma series, though. So hot sauce and full of spunk. As far as effort, the offense, which was pretty horrid early on in the that series, has improved. Bryant playing through pain and being productive, the bench played nice tonight - the BENCH played nice tonight. Yes, this pleases me.

the jazz missing okur is huge i think. he's a decent post defender, and his ability to stretch the floor is huge for deron. now the lakers can pack the paint with their big men.

I would so wine and dine a Utah girl for the series. Take her out to eat, take care of her, sleep with the enemy. Then break it off dramatically as soon as the Lakers advance to WCF while becoming an obnoxiously pathetic ass along the process. Why not.

I think we sweep here. If the team is as focused as they should be now, we shouldn't have any issues this series, especially with Okur and AK47 being out. Although, the Jazz's wing players have gotten better, we'll have to give them a bit more respect then in past years.

i think ak47 can be back any game now.

Well we start it all over again. Just wish we had a few days to get ready. Sunday is short notice. At lease the Jazz are not all 22 and they do match up well vs. the Lakers. Every game is a must win.

That is some terrible scheduling by Stern. so teams get 2-3 days off in the middle of the 1st round but only a get one day off to prepare for another series? And it's not like these games went to 7.

Stern just wants those big ratings for Sunday. He couldnt care less about the players.

I don't blame him. His sport just got it's asses whooped by a freakin Draft

We cannot afford to lose any games at Staples because that Jazz team is almost impossible to beat at Energy Solutions. Their crowd is probably the loudest and they are more nuts than the OKC crowd. Their seating chart is crazy, it is placed so close to the court that it sort of intimidates the refs and the players.

Lets not sleep on these Jazz, they are an experienced version of the relentless Thunders that we just saw except not as young but much tougher physically. JErry Sloan's teams do not quit and they are physical so they will bring it.

hard fought series...HCA is gona play a huge role, so i say lakers in 7
and the only reason we will let it go so far is because utah's bench is very well constructed, and LA's, not so much.

here are some win mode strategies-

1. kobe should volunteer to guard deron williams
2. gasol needs to get big on boozer and millsap
3. lamar needs to wake up

if these 3 criteria are met....especially the THIRD one, this ride wont be too turbulent

We are getting horrible calls on the road, this game against the Thunder was obviously rigged, and we only could win it with a miracle.....same that last year against Orlando in game 4. 0 free throws and we won in OT. But miracles arent eternal. We can beat the Jazz even with the obvious phantom calls well get. But against the Spurs in the finals and the Duncan treatment, or in the finals without HCA, we are screwed....

We don't have HCA against cavs or magic. We need to buckle up on the road ref or no refs.
