Kobe averaged 35 ppg and was 4th in MVP voting while taking a team with SMUSH PARKER, KWAME BROWN, and LUKE WALTON to the playoffs. Durant gets 2nd with 30 ppg and great players like westbrook, green, and harden as his supporting cast

And the competition for the MVP is BETTER this year too

Agreed in spirit, but Durant led his team to the 50-win plateau. Which seems the be the criteria for MVP these days.

Please stop hatting on KD... He had a great year. Lakers underachieved I believe this year. Plus Kobe missed alot of games this year.. It is what it is.

Durant is this season's cinderella and we've seen this happen before and I'm honestly not very surprised considering the amount of media he got so far.

I don't understand the Durant hate. He had a great year, and led his unexperienced team to 50 wins.
If anything, Dwight might be the big loser here.

Yeah you could even argue that Dwight should be ahead of Kobe. Either way it didn't matter Lebron won it in a freaking land slide. Nobody else had a chance.

Who cares about MVP, its just a media popularity contest.
Finals MVP means more, Kobe wont be denied this year.
