I don't like the Jazz, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like the Jazz, denigrate means 'put down'.
Modified Bob Newhart quote...LOL

ey I'm not gona lie, i dislike their fan base more if not equal to Bos, at least Bos has reason to talk trash to us, but Utah for life of me I dont like whatsoever, I guess my hatreds runs back to the 90s when they were sweeping the lakers. I like to see some thorough domination this time, its rather odd that we won gm 1 but yet Jazz fans make sounds as if THEY were the ones who gave the game away.

http://nbaplaybook.com/2010/05/03/the-l ... #more-2157Because we did give the game away. If Boozer was simply an average defender (or replaced by paul + a real center), we prob don't give away the game like that. Boozer is one of the very worst defenders in the NBA. So it is surprising him + dwill + a bunch of 2nd rounders / undrafted player made this game close at all.

well thats why I'm hoping for some serious arse kicking in gm 2, maybe then there wont be anymore doubts from Jazz fans and the rest of the haters? Seriously how do you figure that it was Utah game to lose? It was the BENCH that gave a way the lead, look at what happened when both teams starters came back.

So it looks like the lakers are going with the theory that Bynum at 70-85 percent is better than no Bynum. I hope they're right.

So let's recap;
IF the Jazz hadn't given this game away
and
IF Boozer was an average defender
and
IF the Jazz had a real Center (like Ostertag?...LOL)
and
IF your 2nd Rounders and undrafted players were better
the Jazz
MIGHT have won...!
awesome

I didn't finished watching the game
but looking at stats if he can give us 10 rebs and 8 points at 25 minutes that would be enough

I got Game 3 on the next GT.
No break downs from the bench again.....we'll be OK.

Game day. All eyes on Fasenka. He could really change the dynamics of tonight's game again.

I'll take the opportunity to apologize for the Jazz fans making excuses for our game 1 loss. When a team has dominated us like the Lakers have, we can't "give away" the game. Our bench bringing us a brief 4 point lead in the 4th quarter doesn't change that at all.
Anyways, I'm excited for tonight. I hope it plays out just like the Denver series and we steal one in Staples. If we come out hitting our shots, and Fesenko/Koufos can actually BE a presence down low, we've got a decent shot at it. Having a presence at center gives our power forwards the ability to actually play like themselves. Our biggest problem against LA is what you do to us with your length at PF.
...and Deron is going to have to be huge in every quarter. You guys have nobody that can guard Deron, so there's no excuse for him not to take over.
