I haven't seen Kobe's Wife and Kids at the games this post-season... It seems like that's all we saw last season.

And this year it's his dad and mom... Last I heard, Kobe's Dad and his wife don't exactly see eye to eye...

Has anyone seen the wife and kids?

As an aside, does anyone think Jelly Bean is self promoting a bit? Most of his comments are about him instead of Kobe.

I got daughters and always thought it was kinda cool seeing them chearing on their dad... All I know of Jelly Bean has been his recent interviews at the games. I can't ever remember any other appearances in all the years I've watched Kobe play. I've never seen his mom before either.

I live in Austin... The Spurs and Mavs barely get coverage here...

Was just wondering if some reason has been givin for the absence of Kobe's kids and conversely Jelly Bean's sudden appearance in the LA Papers.

Granted, it probably isn't 'top of mind' for everyone... But I just figured those that didn't care, wouldn't post..

I don't really follow players personal matters off the court, but I will say that I was actually surprised to see Bryant's parents at the games these last few weeks. Bryant is a 10+ year vet and I've never even seen his parents faces up until just recently. Definitely not his mother's. I was in awe the moment I saw him greet both of the in the Thunder series.

Also, good point. I haven't seen the rest of his family anywhere, either. Odd. Not that I care to know the reasoning behind it, I just find it an oddity to see a difference out of what is supposedly the norm for us.

My guess is that Kobes parents and Vanessa dont get along.

i thought it was mostly because of the age they got married at, sure they're over it by now.

besides i doubt he wants his kids and wife sitting in the middle of all those jack*ss utah fans.

I am glad to see his father at the game to share some good moments with Kobe.

I don't think the Utah home crowd would welcome Vanessa and the kiddies sitting courtside. It is safe to say they probably were at home.

You're all right about Kobe's parents not gettting along with Vanessa and her parents. The Bryants did not want Kobe to get married and certainly not to the younger Vanessa. That was a very long time ago. The word on the street is they are all the family is trying to patch things up for the kids sake. Also Kobe is nearing the end of his career and wants his parents to be apart of it.

HOOPDREAMS did you know Anthony Parker is Candice's Parker's brother, I sure didn't until a few weeks ago.
