Sign Shaq for Vet minimum. Come off the bench. Retire as a Laker and hang his Jersey in the rafters.

i say MAYBE only if the Lakers win this year.

**** Shaq, it will never happen. He needs to retire after this year.

I could never say that about KG. Even though he is a great player. In some way even in his prime he is Joakim Noah with a jump shot and a little better post game. Outside of that they have the exact same skill set.

Even though he got 21 points and 4 blocks tonight in 26 minutes?

I know its a single sample, but he can still produce a little...

He'll go to Orlando to teach his buddy Howard how to win championships.

He seems to hate Howard, or at minimum seem threatened by his rise in fame.

He'll go to Miami with Lebron/Wade and take the minimum to win 1 more title than Kobe/Duncan.

I think there's a very good chance he will retire if a team doesn't offer him enough money. Shaq has been making so much money in the NBA that I doubt he would settle for veteran minimum from any team. If someone offered the MLE, he would most likely go to them. But that would be the minimum his ego would accept to keep him in the league.

Hell Iverson would still be in the league had Memphis or Philadelphia paid more than the minimum.

No, I don't think Kobe has any indention or desire in "reuniting the band". I never got the sense that he bought into Shaq's whole "it was all marketing" rehabilition.

Shaq is like a bigger Gilbert Arenas. He thinks if he is funny enough, people will forgive him. Unfortunately, Kobe does not fall for the clown show.

The likely hood of O'Neal back in a Lakers uniform is equivalent to Dwyane Wade going to the Wizards this off season.

Why so he can wreck your team like he has the Cavs! The stats from the game looks great but they came at the cost of the rest of the team being out of sync due to the fact that Shaq slows the team way down and screws up the spacing. He is a poison pill which ever team gets him next that's competing in the playoffs you can pretty much write off as a contender because the only thing they will be contending for is earliest exit from the playoffs!

I would bet on it IF he doesnt follow/stay with James.

It allows Kobe and the Lakers to be the bigger man. It adds depth up front for Bynum. Its a cool LA story. It keeps Phil entertained. It ends the way it should for long term Laker fans.

Shaq can spark the 2nd unit and get 8 and 6 game in 15 mins. Also Shaq likes to chase rings. But the Lakers need a point to win next year. No way do we have a chance w/ DFish at 36. Fish is stepping up but I still wish we went after Hiniken.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
