A rookie mistake.

to answer the question. Kobe has the same injuries as before, but is feeling better. he took time off practice to rest and to give more healing time to his injuries.

Kobe has been injured for the past couple of years he is just so good that it doesn't really faze him, a healthy Kobe Bryant isn't fair for the nba hopefully in the offseason he takes care of his injuries

correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think he's been practicing with the team for awhile now.

also, that utah series did a lot as far as comforting laker fans worries about kobe's health.he looked close to being back to normal.

It's easy to sum it up if you're just talking about practice. We're sitting here, and I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we're talking about practice. His knee has been like this before ,now that it's drained it's gonna be even better.

Kobe missing practice is somewhat great news.... he needs to rejuvenate and re-charge. He'll get plenty of practice dunking on Nash.

Kobe missing practice is not a big deal at this point in his career. In fact, it is good that he is getting the rest that he needs between games as long as his rhythm is not off.
Fluid build up in the knee though is an issue. It could be due to underlying structural damage. I'm sure he has had an MRI but if the fluid keeps building up, he'll need to have the knee scoped in the off season. This should not hamper his ability to play the rest of the playoffs.
We all know the warrior that Kobe is. Given a chance at the title, he'll get out on the court even if he has pain and swelling.
