KEYS TO GAME 3:

Our boys have been doing a great job of dominating the tempo of the game, the defense has been sufficient and the bench is finally showing up. They're pumped up and ready to dispose of these Suns, the question is can they absorb the push that the Suns will undoubtedly make once tip-off begins. I think they'll come out with all cylinders because they KNOW if they lose Game 3, the Lakers will for sure be closing them out like Utah. Here my 5 ingredients to cook up a game 3 win!

1) KEEP THE CROWD OUT OF IT!!! Don't let the Suns fans pump up their team and get this team runnin, gotta keep the crowd quiet by shutting out the Suns 3PT shooting, which so far has been done (PHX only shooting 32%), by having good defensive rotations to avoid the open man for the 3 or easy drive to the basket, take care of the ball! TO's = Fastbreaks! And pound em inside on the offense to keep this crowd out of the game!

2) CONTROL THE TEMPO: We aren't in LA, this is PHX's house, nevertheless we must control the tempo from tip-off, NOT sometime in the 4th quarter. We must set the tone early and stay steady on our tempo and our system won't fail us!

3) KEEP DOMINATING THE GLASS: The Lakers are out-rebounding the Suns 40.5 to 34, however the Suns are still managing to get about 9 offensive rebounds. We must limit their 2nd chance opportunities. Our boys have done well so far, hopefully they can take up a notch on the road or at least stay steady.

4) BENCH VS BENCH: Our bench mob can't disappear on us on the road. Farmar & Brown i'm specifically talking to you! Not worried about LO, but i know we'll need some decent production from Farmar & Brown. We've been outscoring their bench by almost 10 points in each of the last two games. Let's our bench can keep doing what they've been doing and keep eclipsing the "BETTER" Phoenix bench

5) STICK TO THE PLAN! It sounds so simple, yet it's so difficult to do in the playoffs due to coaching adjustments and player consistency but if we keep limiting their 3PT shooting, keeping 'em off the boards, out-matching their bench and keep our bigs rolling over them, i'm convinced we can't lose against this Suns team. The mismatches and shear difference in team focus, consistency and domination is just heavily in our favor. Again, let's hope we can stick to plan in Phoenix, if so, we just may need to clean off the bits of Utah we have left in our broom.

Control the pace and we win if you let them fastbreak for the majority of the game then phx has a good chance of winning, lets beat them at there home and take away any hope they may have left if any lool

Man the Lakers are just toying with the Suns. Everything is clicking for the Lakers now and Lamar Odom keeps on getting "lucky". Lakers are going to destroy everything that stands in their way.

How are the Lakers toying with the Suns if the score was tied at 90-90 after 3 quarters? 2nd game Lakers had to earn the victory the hard way and with 9 min left in the 4th quarter they did.

Same mindset as the last series, get this game and it's all but over. Everyday of rest is a positive for this club, so finishing this series as quickly as possible is a must.

game plan seems pretty complicated especially for ron, lets just hope for a sustain effort all night and everything will fall into place

The LA Times is funny.

The media has a right to rag on Amare for his defense. He isn't doing a good job on the defensive end.

Maybe toying with them wasn't the right phrase. But the Lakers do seem more relaxed out there and look as if they are having more fun out there than usual.

OKC must be pretty proud of themselves knowing theyre the only team that LA raise their eyebrows a little

Nice GT miggs !......................................naw bro I don't mind at all. Love the breakdowns also, very much on point.

Game 3 is critical for us fellas, like miggs said the Lakers have to keep the crowd out of it. Phoenix gonna come hard, quick and strong out the gate. We have to weather the hay makers they're going to throw.

A few things have worked in our favor so far, one being the Suns bench hasn't had many eruptions so far. Dudley was on and Dragic was solid. But we have Frye under wraps and Barbosa is no longer a lethal threat.

This is what I envisioned, odds was against them doing to us what they did to the Spurs. The Spurs couldn't defend and had trouble cutting off areas of the floor. For the most part we've turned a jump shooting team into a not confident jump shooting team. They need space to shot but we've been in their grill for the most part...........except for Kobe and LO acting like Dudley and Hill would spit on them or something ! Bottom line is keep to the game plan on offense and defense.

We do that we up 3-0 simple as that.

Amare thinks he deserves a max LOOL then what does Pau deserve if he was a fa as well because he is killing him just like he destroyed Boozer last round.
