If they bring out the zone to start off the game, get the ball into the middle of the zone and attack and kick. That's how you beat a zone.

We need to Drew to be aggressive and we have to help him do so, get him some touches early. Pound the ball inside and control the pace.

Agree 100 % with TylersLakers, get the rock in the middle and punish them early and often. Amazing all this "zone" talk is gong on, like it's some daunting concept to solve. 6 year olds can play a zone...lol.

Our pick'n roll defense has to be very consistent, especially in the 3rd and 4th quarters. They played their best basketball in Game 3, yet the game could be ours in the end.

Just come out with a sense of purpose and, fead Bynum early, get him a bit going and then move to Pau and Odom.

This is where PJ earns his money....ADJUSTMENTS. But, congrats Suns fans for winning a game on your home court.

Also, look for Phil to ACTIVATE Bynum. With the limited amount of minutes he can give us I wouldnt be surprised if he went to him early and often.

Alright, so to beat a zone you need great three point shooting.....nah that is fools gold.

Crisp passing, hard cuts and ball inside early is the key. Let's get this done, I do fear that dudly and frye might have a better game than they did but Amare will not get 40+ again.

i would put bynum on amare. he simply can't be counted on to rotate over to help the pick n roll as the last line of defense. i think he can hedge out on nash and use his length against amare a lot better than he can rotate at this point. he's just too slow out there, its disheartening.

beating the zone isn't really a concern. the lakers scored 37 pts in the 3rd quarter, they destroyed the zone. as long as they don't settle for shots like they did late in the 4th, its all good. the concern is the defense.

They need to focus and lock down on there man and play a little better. Suns will be ready, we just need to be that much more ready.

Pau & Lamar have to start offering some help. Last game It had nothing to do with his quickness. If you let a guy come off of a screen & don't get so much as a rub & send the guy full speed ahead @ your Center he's going to get in foul trouble. I don't care what his name is

We just gotta force Amare to take jumpers I can live with that. No more of him going inside. Stop him early and force him to shoot the J. IMO i didn't think their zone D was that great. We still shot better and 3 of our starters were playing very well. We just needed at least one more guy to help (ODUMB) and we could have won this game even with the huge FT difference. I expect Lakers to adjust and execute and WIN this game 4 in Laker fashion. So stay confident guys Lakers didn't come this far to lose to the SUNS...we want revenge more then anything.

unfortunately i havent been able to watch a single game but from what i know about the lakers...i can judge by saying this----

1. get lamar involved early....he has the confidence against this team already, phil should tell him to go to work early, infact, i think hes one of the best zone players in the L

2. dont let their scrubs score...amare is good enough to get his, but on the flip side, letting robin lopez score at will cannot not fly during the playoffs

3. iso pau on the block.....this is pretty much a given if they play man2man

4. rotate on D

Bynum doesn't need to rotate on the attack, he needs to rotate before the attack, he should watch how Perkins does it. Once u see a pick and roll in place rotate to the center immediately before the drive.

Man, tonight can't come quick enough. I want to see these dorks buried for good. Cannot wait to see this Phoenix team ripped a new one these next few games.
