I cant believe all the open 3's that we miss. Between Odom, Artest, Fisher, Farmar, Brown....they were 3/18 from downtown, majority of those shots were wide open too!!.

Reddick, Morrow, and Korver would really benefit off the open looks from Kobe and Gasol.....

back to back 3s are really needed when you are down 9 or 10 pts.

things we need over summer..a PG and a 3pt specialist.

+1

The thing that I miss about Ariza is that he could attack the basket and finish around the rim.

Morrow and Korver are automatic. If we get one of those two and Nate Robinson(Lakers have tried getting him for years) or another good pg we will be unstoppable

Calderon would be a great offensive fit, but his contract is about $5M a year too much for us.

Morrow looks more athletic but Korver can hit it in the crunch.

He is a sharp shooter perfect for the triangle.

Unless players are making very little. Lakers have said they do not want to add salary. Not sure how this is going to work. We need upgrades and not spending is the only way not to get there.

Be careful with the 3 point specialist talk.

We definitely need a three point shooter ... but not a specialist per se.

Specialist implies, to me, that all they can do is shoot.

Might as well sign up Radmanovic again ... he was a specialist ... and that's all.

Korver fits in the same mold IMO; Redick not so much.

If the Lakers get a great three point shooter (which they should and will), they need to make sure that guy is NOT a defensive liability like Radmanovic, Walton, and Vujacic before him.

That's all.

I agree with everything you said except for the bolded part. it is vice versa actually. redick can bring more to the table other than 3 point shooting: defense, play-making.

we know we need shooters but the lakers' FO should be careful not to over do it. I dont want our roster to be filled with one dimensional players/shooters again radman, cook, vujacic

Would prefer Calderon over Jack in any deal for Bosh. If Farmar, Sasha along with his expiring and a 1st rounder were included in this deal it might be possible. Calderon would be a great fit in the triangle.

Miscommunication dude.

Korver, to me, fits the same mold (almost) as Radmanovic.

Redick not so much. Redick can guard more than one position without being a major liability like Radmanovic, Puke, and sometimes Vujachick.

We agree.

However, I think that an acquisition of Redick alone (an absolute long shot with him being restricted) will not make us dominant; which IMO is how the front office should be thinking when it comes to moves: How can the Lakers become dominant?

I dont agree calderon is more of a traditional pointguard. give the attributes of a triangle pointguard and you would see those in jack. and I would also prefer jack's contract over calderon.

Yep, Calderon would be a great fit for LA offense but I think we need a defensive guys.
Kendrick Perkins and Kirk hinrich type of guys. Maybe Jarrett Jack. Maybe we should give Mario Chalmers from Miami a shot. The guy was good at the beginning(both defensively and 3pt. shooting which are important for the triangle) and he was in the doghouse in Miami lately(as far as I remember.)

Randy Foye maybe deserves a 2nd chance also. He and Bynum are friends as I know.
