If there was ever any doubt. This guy has true heart. True grit. He wants a ring, wants to be a champ and he want's to do it in the P&G. What a wicked way to end such a great game. Mad love for Artest!

He reminds me of Fox in some ways. He kind of thinks his defensive effort justifies some stupid shots, but he also goes from goat to hero in a flash. That was definitely good stuff. Way to be Ron.

This ^ DD.

Excellent comparison. Almost too into the game within a game and forgets role, time n place, but uncanny knack for being in the right spot.

Did you guys notice Fish (and to a lesser degree Kobe) were the first to walk away from the team celebration??

Fish was under the basket and raised his arms, but I'm not even sure he went over to Ron with the whole team. I just saw him walking to the locker room before anyone else.

Kobe obviously was elated and mauled Ron out of excitement. But he then left as everyone else was coming over to Ron and began walking to the locker room shortly behind Fish. While everyone else stayed in a rowdy celebration with Ron.

Did I see this right? If so, damn...Kobe and Fish know whats up. It was a great moment, but in the bigger picture we're not playing very well and its only game 5 of the WCF. Much more work to do.

Kobe was also being motioned to get to the interview with Sager.... but yeah Fish was like "on to the next one." AWESOME!

Did anyone notice Jonah Hill (Superbad) sitting right next to the Laker bench dude looked WAY STOKED that he was at that game and practically on the bench. Every time out he was totaly into the Laker's huddle. He must be a huge Laker Fan! I can here him now "

"What do you mean, did I see Ron's shot? Bro, I was there! COURTSIDE! BYYYY0TCH!"

I didn't see this, in fact one of the pictures is of Fish hugging ron in the Locker room.

Yeah, Fish waited for Ron in the tunnel. Which is how it should be done! They were def all very happy for him and the win, but Fish just gets it...keep it behind closed doors...or at least not right in front of the other teams face.

Fish got pushed off the court and was on top of the photographers under the basket during the celebration.

Jonah Hill was there because some Hollywood studio gave him the tickets and wanted to be seen. I doubt he is a true Lakers fan.

Ron Ron's awesome power pushed Fish into the cheerleader/photog row...

Jonah Hill... Canadian. He was scouting Bynum for Toronto :)

i really believe this is a tight knit team. i also liked how after ron shot that bad three fisher and kobe were the first one's to tell him it was ok...even while jackson was fussing the team still stood behind artest. i think that confidence helped ron keep his head up and win the game for us.

i am just glad we are up 3-2 and ron is on our team...go lakers 8-) 8-) 8-)
Only on realgm is 27,000 points, 5 rings, 1 rs mvp and 2 finals mvp considered overrated!

Most people of have focused on Ron's offense, or lack thereof, but he brings so many other intangibles that help this Laker team win games. Hopefully after the season when the Lakers have brought home sweet #16, he wil finally get some appreciation for his subtle contributions to the effort.
