Two of the greatest teams in all of professional sports and glad to see the rivalry renewed. We need to keep home court and we will be fine. The key would be how well Bynum plays so that we can isolate Gasol on Garnett rather than Perkins.

Compared to last time Boston's bench strength is much weaker and I expect Sasha/Farmar/Shannon to have a much easier time than against Phoenix.

Artest on Pierce is another monumental match up for this entire series and I expect Kobe and Fisher to cross match on Rondo and Allen as always.

4 more wins for the coveted repeat.

Celtics arent as good as 2008. The Rondo crap is over hyped. Yes he has emerged as a elite player. Facts doesnt change. Kobe picks him up at the freethrow line. Last time I checked Rondo still can shoot consistently. Will he make some plays, of course, but I dont expect him to take over a series. Vlade will not be guarding Pierce this year, it will be Ron Ron. Bottom line is KG isnt the same player. Powe is gone, House is gone, PJ brown is gone, Posey is gone...this is a different team. IN 08, I dont even think the lakers believed they could beat the celtics. They loss both games that year and was physically intimidated. Times have changed. Lakers have one of the most powerful motivators, and thats revenge. They took care of the suns and now its time to take care of the Celtics. We match up tremendously well with them.. Its time to take care of business. Bynum will get his chance to have an impact...no matter how small or big it may be, he has a chance. Cats forget that Bynum and Ariza was out for that series. I know ariza came back late..but lets be real..

As long as our guys stay healthy, Ron Ron stays on point and gives Pierce fits (I think that is the key matchup of this series) as well Pau needs to take command of this series from the tip. I feel confident about our teams chances. Go Lakers !

How the Refs call the game. By a physical Team, means the Celtics get away with alot of fouling some
of the players belong in football and when they don't get their way they whine about it to the refs.

I can't imagine anything more disappointing and heart-breaking than losing again to the Celtics. That would really screw up my summer. I would rather have lost to the Suns in the WCF than to lose again to the Celtics in the NBA Finals.
