I was going to join this flotilla to bring humanitarian relief to the deprived people in Gaza. I wasn't able to go, but know several people who made the journey. I know the policy in the US tends to be radically pro-israel, but I hope people wake up and start seeing how disproportionately aggressive Israel is, stop sending billions of dollars to them every year for their ammunition that they use against Palestinian families and aid convoys. No justice no peace

Consider it done.

It really is amazing what Israel gets away with, they blow off pressure from political powers and global organizations like it's nothing and no one dares do anything more than verbally slap their wrist for fears of being called antisemitic...

Which is pretty dumb when you stop and think about it. We're dealing with the loss of lives on a fairly large scale and the oppression of an entire ethnic group...

Wish we can help, but the people are just sheeples and peons. The majority of us don't support what our gov. does, but they don't listened to us. They tell us what we want to hear and do the opposite.

If the Palestinians want to prevail, they just got to play the political card game like the Isreali and get on the New World Order good side.

or they can stop launching missles and terror attacks into isreal from the same territory israel evacuated as a test case for the entire peace process ???

yeah, i know that would be a "strange" course of action to consider, but i have a hunch that could have something to do with israel having (not wanting - HAVING) to supervise movement of people and merchandise in and out of gaza (that is, movement that doesn't include the underground tunnels through which more missles and weapons are transported into gaza daily...).

not attacking soliders who are enforcing a blockade as was announced days before this sailing took place might be another way of keeping from getting hurt ?

i wonder, how would the u.s. (or any other sane country) treat a land from which attacks are regulary made against it ?
check that - how DID the u.s. treat such countries ?
those countries can only wish the u.s. would be as patient with them as israel is with it's terrorist neighbours...

Yeah IMO the US has always given in to the pro Israeli lobby that has probably one of the strongest grips on those that govern in the US. It really is crazy when you think about how strong they are here in our country. But it is what it is and they do a much better job at playing the political game and using the media to shed light on their own struggles.

Not to mention the US is one of Israel's largest arm's and weapons customers. They are responsible for some insane weaponized technologies that one would see being used in the Iraqi and Afghan wars on a daily basis. (quiet as it's kept for obvious reasons)

The Palestinian people really have to do a much better job at holding their leaders responsible for not doing a good job at playing the game of world politics. True the current US administration has taken a passive stance in leading the way because of past failures with our previous administration being very pro-active and not really making any headway with showing them how to play the game.

At this point Israel is basically waiting them out using a very effective war of attrition and containment and if i were a Palestinian leader i would counter this by ceasing the firing of rockets into civilian settlements (albeit illegal) but Israel plays that ish up so effectively every time, and ally the cause with every leader that would host and entertain a Palestinian (PEACE) envoy. Perhaps hire one of our great political advisors/PR person here and literally go on a tour slash media blitz because at this point out of sight out of mind seems to be burying this story as it has for decades.

fact is, that those lowlifes use schools, religious structures, and u.n. buildings as military bases and attack, bomb, fire, and shell our troops and civilians from those very structures.

What I find comical about this argument is when people start arguing about the "terror" attacks being conducted by Palestinians... I mean stop and think about it, there's a very good reason those "terror" attacks started...
