What does Kobe do once he retires

Does he go into broadcasting?
Does he try and become a business man (somewhat like Jordan)
Does he do nothing - live off endorsements etc
Does he try coaching?

the reason I ask is because it was pretty obvious what MJ was going to do, It was pretty obvious what Lebron will do. But I can't really see Kobe doing any of those things?

Anyone got some insight ?>

I'm sure he'll be hanging around basketball in some fashion. He won't need the money like some former greats do.

To me Kobe seems the type to fade away. Not really doing anything in the spotlight apart from being a celebrity cameo at Laker playoff games.

I don't think he'll go into coaching or anything like that probably do a couple commercials now and then see him hanging out at Lakers games ect..

Don't be a tool. It was obvious that MJ was going to focus on becoming a successful business man, same thing Lebron will try and do. I am speaking in generalities. #@$@#

He won't coach, GM, or do anything like that. He's too shy to work in the media or be an announcer.

He fades into the background.

The only thing I've heard him say is that he might have interest in owning a team.

Coaching or being a GM, he's already said he has no interest in that. And he's too socially awkward for broadcasting, definitely not his thing.

He will reitire after playing 20 years in the NBA with 5-7 rings. Then after a year off for retirement, he will resign with the Lakers play another 20 years and win another 5-7 rings.

I personally think that he'll get in trouble with the law and finish what he started he years ago at some point....Until then though, he'd probably hang around the game, make occasional appearances on TNT and such or try to be like Jordan...

He said he didn't want to coach even though he was sure he could do it. He doesn't seem outgoing enough to be a broadcaster, I can see LeBron or Dwight definitely filling that role. But at the same time I don't see him fading out. Kobe will be involved in the Basketball scene in someway, he'll probably take the Jordan route and become a business man then buy a team.
