Goin thru some of his youtube highlights and brought back some #8 memories. Both the athletic kobe days was exciting but the IQ/post up game of the current #24 is just as fun if not better. With that said which kobe do you guys prefer?

24 any day of the week. The It factors and ruthless **** that is included with 24 is invaluable

In terms of jersey number yes. But the player it's not even a question. The athleticism was fun to watch, but the greatness is mindnumbing

#8 because he was so cocky because he knew he could dunk on you anytime he wanted, and even though he was so athletic he still had some fundamentals his overall bball iq no matter what jersey number is amazing.

05-06 or MVP season Mamba was the best of both worlds. He could still dunk on people and at the same time could attack you from so many angles.

i like #24 better. theres a sense of... (cue hugo weaving) inevitability to his play that #8 never had. imo, those 8-10 game winners he hit over the course of the season brings him into an entire class of his own in terms of clutchness

05-06 #8 was more like an out of control train, you never knew whether he'd go cold and he would still decide it was better to continue to shoot poorly, rather than give it to smush, luke, kwame to shoot a brick instead.

#8 was definitely more entertaining, you never knew what records he'd break that night

Kobe doesn't have that all day explosion like he had as 8, but he's a far better player now than he was, how can 8 ever be an answer unless you aren't going for 'chips?

06 wasn't lacking very much of 2010's IQ and ability. A few new things sure but overall that Kobe on this team would MURDER the league.

I notice he added the euro step to his game this year as well. This guy makes the best youtube kobe vids imo. Just a recap of kobe greatness...tears.

Wish I wasn't at work, cos then I could see the slick Kobe vids you guys posted. Anyway!

#8 was back when he was wreckin' fools for laughs. He was just out there ballin' his but off but no direction. No real leadership just an assasin. Now the assasin has his own Clan to lead.

#24 is the veteran warrior. Efficient as the assasin however more focused on taking over the league and becoming a legendary warrior than becoming the worlds best assasin/ player.
