Shut up Pau... (Says KG Lost a step...)

Do we really need Pau saying KG lost a step right before game 2? Even if KG has lost a step and he is unable to answer on the court, every other Celtic is going to try that much harder to shut Pau up...

I guess all it means it that Pau has to step up and put his money/body/skills where his mouth is and prove it...

Nice job in game one, but you're going to have to stand tall in game 2 if you start calling out KG.

He did lose a step but what suprises me is his defense has gotten worse as well, if this was 08 Pau wouldn't dominate like he did in game 1, how would you feel if everyone blamed you for the 08 finals loss and you dominated the guy that everyone said made you look like a bitch good for Pau he is growing a set and is realizing how good he is

Yeah what Pau is saying is what everybody knows is true. This is not the same Kevin Garnett not even close.

Way to fall for the media trying to make something out of nothing. Pau didn't even mean it to be a jab. It's just true.

Pau said at the presser that sometimes he ellaborates too much and that they mixed his words around lol. He basically blamed it on the press.

Kilroy , yes hell he can say that because its true. Gasol played out of his mind in game one I can't wait for game two. I'm loving this too, its the same as 2008 but we are the big bad kid on the playground. I say lets pummle the hell out of them.

It doesn't matter if its true or not you dont say things like that in such a contentious series the Lakers have the Celtics down there is no need to give them any extra incentive to come out really strong in game 2. Pau should've just said KG's is a great player and he expects him to come out alot better in game 2 thats all. This isn't as dumb as the Bynum comment after game 2 in the Suns series but it was just unnecessary.

Yes, do not give them a reason to get mad and want the game even more. Win game 2, that means the Celts would have to beat the Lakers 4 out of 5 games. Wow, that would be have for any team to do.

in this case he has a point. the press did take what he said way out of context. so much that I bet you didn't know that Pau was answering the question of what the difference was between Pau and Garnett from 2001 vs Pau and Garnett from now.

I know Pau's right... KG is clearly not the same as he was a couple years ago... At least he hasn't been so far...

But I guess I think more like Kobe...
It's more intimidating if you just shut up and come out swinging...

When you have you're opponent on the ropes you don't need to say anything...

Pau doesn't need to say KG's slower... Bynum doesn't need to say he's going to be effective...

Just do it.

Because, let's face it... KG may be a bit slower but he isn't going to have as bad a game as game 1 twice this series... And if KG only has a slightly better game, and Ray Allen has just a mediocre game for him, while slightly limiting Pau and Kobe... We could easily be down 1-0 instead of up...

I think Game 1 was a bigger blow for Boston than they let on... But something like some trash talk could easily change negativism into motivation.

So let's keep the hammer down tomorrow... No more BS...

It doesn't matter if it was taken out of context by the media its just an unnecessary comment the sports media wants comments like that so they could use them especially now since ESPN pretty much televises the NBA finals they are looking for anything the get more eyes to watch the series. Just say something robotic who cares what the press thinks about it.

I got to agree with Kilroy how much more scarier would the Lakers look to the Celtics if they were like Kobe was during last season finals if u guys remember the Lakers went up 3-1 but Kobe just said the jobs not done constantly it may have been robotic but it showed clear focus imagine if the entire Lakers team is like that this year that i would think that would scare the crap out of the Celtics. But instead I bet tomorrow night in the locker room Doc's gonna say they think were old, they think were slower even softer lets go out there and show them that we still are the same team from 2 yrs ago.

Pau can talk all the ish he wants about the Celts... after we win

But what did the Magic do when Pierce talked about brooms, what did the Suns do when Sasha got physical.

I'm glad Pau wants KG at his best BUT he just made the job harder. I'm still confident we can win, but why potentially prolong a series when we have as many injuries to this team as we do.

The fight isnt over yet... let your play do the talking

The Celts arent on the ropes yet

We did what we were suppose to do

I hope Pau doesnt feel like he has bested KG after 1 game.

If you need incentive to play harder in the NBA Finals then you have no chance to win. With that said Pau just shut up and play.
