wassup laker nation i'm a long time poster of this site but i lost my password a while back so i just skim through and read the forum these days but I had a question for my fellow laker fans who happen to know their stuff when it comes to fake/real jerseys i just wanted to know if you guys think this is a real jersey becuase ive seen this on the street but dont remember exactly how it looked...

Well it depends on your definition of real. It is from Adidas and the NBA so in that sense it's real. It's not a jersey they wear in games though. It's just a different style I would say. I'm not an expert on jerseys but thats just my two cents. The colours are like the Oakland Raiders colours, made famous by NWA. (sorry, just seen a really cool documentary on the Raiders and the NWA and their influence on sports in Cali)

^ yea i know i just want to make sure it's a real swingman jersey not some fake one because with the black alternate ones theres a few fake ones floating around so i just wanted to get a second opinon...and i'm a diehard la raider fan so you can see why i want to cop this jersey

When did we have black alternates. That looks close to one of the training tops but its fake.

It's a swingman jersey. I have a black Artest one (from his Pacers days). As far as I know, Indy never used pitch black jerseys with white outline, but it still looks cool. Heck, I've seen a "real" Kobe jersey made out of denim. Obviously, LA never sported those, but it's original.
