I don't hate it one bit (well, other than the fact that I feel bad for Perk). You don't see us making excuses for our injuries (now or in 2008, for that matter):

1.) Kobe -- broken finger and torn ligament in shooting hand, knee tendonitis/swelling
2.) Bynum -- partially torn MCL
3.) Artest -- ligament damage to thumb and plantar fasciitis

and the most severe injury of them all

4.) Pau -- chronic vaginal inflammation and post-op recovery from deviated scrotum
